At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
Wolt is part of DoorDash, and together we run one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe. We’re looking for a VAT Manager to join us as an in-house advisor on VAT matters across the business. You’ll work closely with Finance, Legal, Business and Product teams, translating VAT rules into clear, practical guidance for the wider organisation.
This role is primarily advisory: you’ll be the go-to person for VAT questions across the business, working on several projects in parallel rather than owning a single recurring process. You’ll partner with teams across multiple functions to make sure VAT is considered early and handled correctly.
We think you’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy variety, can manage several projects at once, and are comfortable explaining VAT concepts to non-tax colleagues. You are willing to take ownership and work well in an autonomous environment.
You’ll join a small, senior tax team with real ownership over VAT matters across Wolt’s markets. Expect varied, hands-on work as the business expands into new products and geographies, plus the chance to shape how VAT advisory is done at Wolt.
If this sounds like you, apply with your CV in English. Our process typically includes an initial call with our Talent team, followed by one or two interviews with the hiring manager and team members, concluding in an assignment. We’ll aim to keep you updated at every step along the way.
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
