How we verify jobs
Most job sites show whatever gets posted. We show where every job comes from, and only call a job verified when it comes from the employer's own hiring system.
- 1
We go to the source
Most jobs are read directly from employers' own hiring systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters and others) through the public feeds those systems publish for company career sites. These are the jobs we mark as verified.
- 2
We label everything else
Some jobs come from public job boards and government job services. They are never called verified: each one is labelled with the board's name, marked as not yet confirmed with the employer, and you apply on the board itself.
- 3
We confirm the employer
For verified jobs, the employer's careers board is confirmed before we list any of its jobs, and the apply link must lead to the employer's official application page.
- 4
We scan every listing
Each job is checked for the patterns used in fake job offers: fees or deposits, chat-app-only recruiters, free email addresses, task scams and implausible pay. Listings that fail are hidden.
- 5
We re-check constantly
Every job is compared against its source on each sync. When the employer or board closes a job, it leaves our site, so you don't waste time on a role that no longer exists.
- 6
You apply at the source
Applications go straight to the employer, or to the job board for board listings. We never charge job seekers, and we never submit applications on your behalf without you.
