System Developer - Portfolio Investments Applications

Myntro is a company in the middle of a transformation, shifting toward a more product- and technology-driven, data-enabled business. We are looking for a System Developer who wants to join that journey and help build our future. Are you a curious builder who enjoys creating new systems, navigating complexity, and using modern technology to solve real business problems? Then keep reading!

As a System Developer at Myntro, you'll join our DevOps team with end-to-end ownership of applications and systems at the heart of our debt portfolio investment business. Working closely with our investment team, you'll help turn complex portfolio data into reliable systems that support valuation, purchasing decisions, and portfolio management.

Our current focus is building a new investment platform and the services around it. You'll have real opportunities to design and build new capabilities, while also improving and maintaining the existing systems that keep the business running. You'll contribute across the development lifecycle and help shape technical decisions with both immediate and long-term impact.

In this role, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain systems, services, and integrations for our debt portfolio investment business.

• Develop a new investment platform that supports portfolio valuation, purchasing, and management.

• Take ownership from design and implementation through deployment, operation, and continuous improvement.

• Build with C#/.NET, SQL, Azure services, and microservice and event-driven architectures.

• Improve and simplify existing applications and data flows in a complex technical landscape.

• Contribute to architecture, Azure infrastructure, code quality, testing, observability, and how we build.

We are looking for someone who is curious, self-driven, and likes real engineering work. You enjoy understanding both the business problem and how systems actually behave, finding weak points, and making them better. You're comfortable exploring unfamiliar areas and learning what you need to move the work forward.

You take ownership, care about quality, and like building things that hold up in production. You're pragmatic and collaborative, but you don't wait for someone else to define every step. You can move between new development, architecture, infrastructure, data, and existing applications based on what the problem requires.

AI-assisted development isn't new to you; it's already part of how you work. You have your own setup, your own opinions, and you're paying attention to where the craft is heading. That matters here. We're actively building AI into both how we develop and what we deliver, and we need people who are already leaning in, not catching up.

We see that you likely have:

• A degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience, ideally in production-critical environments.

• Strong .NET/C# development skills.

• Solid understanding of SQL, data modelling, and data flows.

• Hands-on experience with Azure, cloud infrastructure, and microservice architectures.

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.

Experience in investment systems, finance, or debt portfolios is not required. What matters is that you're interested in learning the business context and applying your engineering skills to it.

At Myntro, you'll work in a small team with broad ownership and close access to the people who use what you build. The new investment platform is important to how we value, purchase, and manage debt portfolios, and there is still plenty to design, build, and shape.

This is a good place if you are looking for variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to combine software development with architecture, cloud infrastructure, data, and real business problems. You'll be part of a team that's expected to think, build, operate, and improve together.

Our culture is built on care, accountability, and the belief that the best results come from working together. Collaboration, customer focus, personal accountability, and simplicity are how we actually make decisions, not just words on a wall.

Sounds like your next challenge? We review applications and interview on a rolling basis, so don't wait too long to apply. The role is full-time and based at our head office in central Gothenburg.
