Are you an experienced Front-end Engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and creating exceptional user experiences? Do you enjoy taking ownership, working with modern technologies, and turning ambitious ideas into reliable, scalable solutions?

We are looking for a skilled Front-end Engineer to join an innovative technology environment in Malmö, where you'll contribute to the development of sophisticated web applications used on a global scale.

This is an opportunity to work in a highly skilled, collaborative team where technical excellence, creativity, and personal responsibility are at the heart of everything.

As a Front-end Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining modern web applications, working closely with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Build intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces with a strong focus on user experience.

• Develop and optimize complex single-page applications (SPAs), including state management and data-intensive views.

• Improve application performance through techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and rendering optimization.

• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs, ensuring reliable handling of latency, errors, and incomplete data.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.

• Take ownership of features throughout the development lifecycle, from initial design to production.

• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD processes.

• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.

You'll work with technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, modern CSS, Docker, and GitHub.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a genuine interest in creating outstanding digital experiences.

You enjoy solving problems independently, collaborating with others, and working in an environment where priorities may evolve as new challenges and opportunities arise.

We believe you have:

• Approximately 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, or equivalent practical expertise.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.

• A deep understanding of browser behavior, asynchronous programming, rendering, and performance optimization.

• Proven experience developing and maintaining complex single-page applications.

• Experience with state management and performance optimization in data-heavy applications.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and front-end integration.

• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.

• A good eye for UI/UX design, usability, and accessibility.

• Experience debugging complex issues across browsers, devices, and network conditions.

• The ability to break down complex requirements into manageable deliverables.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

It's an extra plus if you have experience with:

• Modern web technologies such as WebAssembly (WASM), WebGPU, or Canvas.

• Browser security models and web platform capabilities.

• Back-end development, particularly Java.

• Building applications where performance, reliability, and data privacy are essential.

Our client offers an opportunity to work on technically challenging products in an international environment where innovation and engineering quality are highly valued.

You can expect:

• The opportunity to contribute to advanced technology solutions with a global reach.

• A highly skilled, collaborative, and autonomous engineering team.

• Significant ownership and influence over technical decisions.

• A modern technology stack and a strong engineering culture.

• Close collaboration with experienced designers, product managers, and developers.

• A dynamic environment that encourages initiative, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

• A long-term assignment with opportunities to develop your technical expertise.
