Front End Engineer - Remote

*** EventMobi is an all-remote company and this is a fully remote position, open to all candidates with a focus in Pakistan, India, Brazil, Columbia, Argentina and Mexico.

You will need to be able to work in EST time zones. ***

WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US?

At EventMobi, you won’t just build UI components. You’ll help deliver meaningful product experiences used by thousands of organizations around the world.

Our front-end applications are large-scale React/TypeScript systems with real-world complexity: offline capabilities, cross-device support, and performance-sensitive rendering. You’ll work on features that directly impact users, while developing a deeper understanding of how modern front-end systems are designed and evolve over time.

This role is ideal for engineers who are strong in fundamentals, take pride in their craft, and want to grow into more advanced system design and ownership over time.
We believe great engineers take ownership of their work, collaborate openly, and continuously improve. You’ll be supported by experienced teammates while having the autonomy to contribute meaningfully from day one.

We also believe the next generation of engineers will be AI-native. You’ll be encouraged to use AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, code quality, and learning speed.

HEAR FROM OUR FRONT-END ENGINEER, MOEED:

“I’ve been here a little over 2 years, working across the front end, mostly focused on onsite and registration flows. What I have enjoyed the most here is a mix of real ownership and strong support. You’re trusted to lead meaningful work, but there’s always someone ready to jump in and debug or brainstorm with you.

There’s also never a shortage of genuinely interesting technical challenges, which keep things fun and help you grow. The team is very collaborative and product‑minded, and being here has pushed me to think beyond ‘just code’ to how what I build actually impacts customers and the business.”

WHAT YOUR WORK WILL FOCUS ON:

This role sits at the intersection of hands-on development, product thinking, and continuous growth.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers
• Balance user experience, performance, and technical constraints

Work Within Scalable Front-End Systems

• Contribute to a shared codebase with established patterns and practices
• Participate in discussions around architecture and system improvements

• Continuously refine how you integrate AI into your workflow

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

You’re a solid engineer with strong fundamentals and a desire to grow.

• 3–5 years of experience building user-facing web applications
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Strong understanding of modern HTML, CSS, and front-end fundamentals
• Experience working with APIs and integrating backend services
• Ability to debug issues and work within existing codebases
• Familiarity with testing (unit and end-to-end)
• Clear written communication skills (we’re async-first)

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with state management or data-fetching libraries (e.g., React Query)
• Exposure to performance optimization or scalable front-end patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows or cloud environments
• Interest in mobile or cross-platform development

THIS ROLE IS A GREAT FIT FOR YOU IF..

• You enjoy building real features that users rely on
• You’re comfortable working with some ambiguity but appreciate guidance
• You want to grow your skills in architecture and system design over time

• You’re not interested in collaborating closely or receiving feedback
• You’re uncomfortable working in a remote, async-first environment
