Who's hiring now: Week 42, 2026 (12 Oct – 18 Oct 2026)

Methodology: how we count

• A posting counts in the week (Monday to Sunday, UTC) JobRipe first saw it. Week 42, 2026 (12 Oct – 18 Oct 2026).
• Only employers JobRipe was already tracking before the week began are counted, so adding a new employer or job feed never looks like a jump in hiring. Changes on the previous week use the employers tracked before that week began, for both weeks, and are shown only when the previous week has at least 20 postings.
• 'Fastest growing' fields and cities need at least 5 postings this week and 3 the week before, from the same employers.
• Sources are counted separately: employers' own hiring systems (careers pages and applicant tracking systems), jobs posted directly on JobRipe, and public job boards. Board postings are counted as found; JobRipe does not verify them.
• A job listed in several places counts once. A job closed and posted again counts again.
• Pay is the midpoint of ADVERTISED ranges converted to a yearly figure, in the country's most common currency, shown only with at least 10 ranges. JobRipe's own pay estimates are never used.
• Countries need at least 30 new postings in the week to appear. The report is offered to search engines only with 150+ postings from 15+ employers.
• Each week is computed once, the Monday after it ends, and stored: later job closures or new employers don't change it.
• These are postings JobRipe tracks, not every job in each country.
