Warehouse Representative

Welcome to HARALD PIHL – where metals meet people, and curiosity meets craftsmanship.

We’re a family-owned company with over 110 years of history, but our mindset is anything but old-fashioned. Here, professionalism goes hand in hand with warmth, teamwork, and a healthy dose of positive energy.

We believe in being curious, solution-oriented, and honest in everything we do – and we’re proud of the culture we build together, across borders, roles, and locations. If you enjoy taking responsibility, making things better than they were yesterday, and being part of a company that truly cares about both results and people, you might feel right at home with us.

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Representative to join our Production team in Täby. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys practical work, likes to stay active, and takes pride in getting things done properly.

You will be part of a close-knit team responsible for making sure our customer orders are picked, processed, and prepared correctly and on time.

Your daily work will combine traditional warehouse tasks with material handling and machine operations. You will work with different forms of specialist metals, such as tubes, bars, and sheets, using equipment to measure, cut, weigh, move and prepare material according to our processes and customer orders.

Accuracy matters. Our materials need to remain traceable throughout the process, which means following established routines, working carefully, and making sure that the right material reaches the right customer.

What you'll do

Your responsibilities will include, among others:

• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and on time
• Handling, measuring, weighing, and cutting different types of metal material
• Operating machinery used for material processing and cutting
• Moving and loading goods using forklifts and lifting equipment
• Working according to our warehouse and production processes
• Keeping material correctly identified and traceable throughout the process
• Supporting stock accuracy and inventory activities
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse and production areas
• Working safely and following our Health & Safety routines
• Using our ERP system to support order and material handling
• Working closely with your colleagues to solve everyday challenges and make sure we deliver on our customer commitments

As our business continues to develop, the role may evolve with additional responsibilities and opportunities to learn new areas over time.

Who we're looking for

You don't need to come to us knowing everything about specialist metals. What matters most is that you are comfortable with physical work, willing to learn and understand the importance of doing things correctly and safely.

Previous experience from a warehouse, workshop, production environment or working with machinery is an advantage, but it is not essential. The role is physically demanding, so you should be comfortable with practical and active work throughout the day.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team but can also take responsibility for completing their own tasks. When things get busy, you remain dependable, structured, and focused on what needs to be done.

Required experience & knowledge

• Previous experience of physically demanding work
• Upper secondary school education or equivalent
• Good general computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Fluent Swedish and good written English
• Ability to work accurately and follow established routines and instructions
• A practical mindset and willingness to learn
• Understanding of the importance of safety in a physical working environment

Nice to have

• Previous experience from warehouse operations
• Previous experience from a workshop or production environment
• Experience working with machinery
• Experience with material cutting or similar processing
• Forklift licence
• Experience with Monitor or another ERP system
• Education within logistics, workshop/industrial technology or similar

Don't tick every box? We still encourage you to apply. For us, your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn can be just as important as having done the same job before.

Personal competencies

We believe how you work is just as important as what you know. For this role, we value that you are:

Cooperative – you enjoy working as part of a team, helping colleagues when needed and contributing to reaching shared goals.

Reliable – you can be counted on, including during busy periods, and take responsibility for getting the job done.

Structured – you work methodically, follow established processes, and understand the importance of completing your tasks correctly and on time.

Relationship-oriented – you contribute to an open and positive atmosphere and enjoy being part of a close team where people communicate, help each other and share ideas.

What it's like to work with us

At HARALD PIHL, you'll join a down-to-earth team where people work closely together, and everyone contributes. Our organization is non-hierarchical, with a high degree of trust and freedom to take responsibility for your work.

The work can be physically demanding and there are periods when the pace is high, but you'll have clear priorities, a supportive manager and colleagues who help each other when needed.

Safety is an important part of our everyday work, and we're continuously looking for ways to improve our working environment.

We also value the social side of work. The team has a strong sense of togetherness, and we invest in activities that help us build relationships both at work and outside of it.

If you enjoy practical work, like taking responsibility and want to become part of a team where your contribution is visible every day, we'd love to hear from you.
