This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Recruiter based in India.
This is a hands-on, outbound-focused recruiting role supporting U.S.-based software engineering and technical hiring. You will own sourcing efforts from initial outreach through candidate screening, scheduling, and pipeline management. The role is ideal for a recruiter who has successfully closed engineering hires for a U.S. product company and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You will use modern sourcing and AI-powered tools to identify and engage high-quality technical talent. Close collaboration with the hiring team will allow you to continuously refine sourcing strategies based on candidate quality and market feedback. This is a remote position with a six-day work week and late India-time hours to provide meaningful overlap with U.S. business hours.
Own end-to-end outbound sourcing and recruitment for U.S.-based software engineering and technical roles.
Design and execute high-volume outbound campaigns, including cold email sequences and cold calling, to build strong candidate pipelines.
Use AI-enabled sourcing and research tools to identify, enrich, prioritize, and engage relevant candidates.
Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, including outreach, initial screening, scheduling, and pipeline updates.
Partner closely with the hiring team to understand hiring needs and continuously refine sourcing criteria.
Use candidate and market feedback to improve outreach strategies, targeting, and pipeline quality.
Maintain a high standard of candidate experience while moving efficiently through multiple technical searches.
2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience within a fast-growing, U.S.-based startup, ideally from seed through Series B.
Previous experience recruiting for a product-focused technology company, such as SaaS, AI, enterprise software, or related products.
Demonstrated success sourcing and closing multiple U.S.-based software engineering or technical hires; this is a core requirement.
Strong hands-on experience with outbound recruiting, particularly cold email campaigns and cold calling.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to engage technical candidates professionally and persuasively.
Comfortable incorporating AI-powered tools into daily sourcing, research, and candidate-identification workflows.
Familiarity with modern sourcing platforms such as Juicebox or MetaView is a plus.
Experience with tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, hireEZ, SeekOut, GitHub sourcing tools, or Wellfound is preferred.
Ability to work a six-day schedule, Monday through Saturday, with late India-time hours aligned with U.S. business hours.
Consistent and stable employment history, with unexplained frequent employment gaps unlikely to meet the role's requirements.
Strong ownership, organization, persistence, and ability to operate independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
Very competitive compensation benchmarked significantly above market for the role and experience level.
Performance-based bonus tied to hiring outcomes and pipeline quality.
Fully remote position based in India.
Opportunity to work closely with a U.S.-based hiring team and recruit for technical roles in the U.S. market.
Exposure to modern AI-powered recruiting and sourcing workflows.
Flexibility in exact working hours, agreed with the Head of Talent and adjusted when needed around candidate availability across U.S. time zones.
