Strategic Account Specialist - Healthcare & AI/ML
Purelogics | United States (Remote)
Transform Healthcare with AI-Powered Solutions
Competitive OTE + Base Salary + PTO| Fully Remote
About Purelogics:
Since 2006, Purelogics has been building world-class software solutions for healthcare organizations. We transform complex healthcare challenges into elegant, compliant technology solutions that improve patient outcomes and streamline operations.
We're looking for a Strategic Account Specialist to drive new logo acquisition in the healthcare sector, bringing innovative AI/ML solutions to organizations ready to revolutionize care delivery.
The Role
This is a hunter role focused on breaking into new healthcare accounts. You'll prospect, qualify, and close deals with health systems, payer organizations, digital health companies, and healthcare technology firms. You own the full sales cycle and have complete autonomy to build your territory.
Your sweet spot? Organizations that need custom software development, AI/ML innovation, or digital transformation to solve real healthcare problems.
What You'll Do
- Hunt relentlessly: Identify and close new healthcare logos through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship building
- Speak healthcare: Navigate complex sales cycles with clinical, technical, and compliance stakeholders who expect you to understand their world
- Champion AI/ML: Show how machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI solve real problems like reducing readmissions, automating clinical documentation, or improving diagnostic accuracy
- Build pipeline: Generate qualified leads through cold outreach, LinkedIn, healthcare conferences (HIMSS, HLTH, ViVE), and industry connections
- Partner internally: Work with our healthcare development and data science teams to scope projects and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Crush quotas: Meet and exceed revenue targets with a new logo focus
What You Bring
3+ years selling healthcare IT, digital health, health tech SaaS, or healthcare consulting
AI/ML knowledge in healthcare: predictive models, NLP for clinical notes, computer vision for imaging, care coordination algorithms
Technical fluency: Comfortable discussing EHR integration (Epic, Cerner), HL7/FHIR, cloud platforms, and emerging healthcare tech
Regulatory savvy: Working knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and FDA software regulations
Hunter mentality: Proven track record of breaking into new healthcare accounts and navigating complex buying committees
Consultative approach: You solve clinical and operational problems, not just pitch products
Remote excellence: Self-motivated, organized, and effective in managing your territory independently
Communication skills: Translate tech for clinicians and clinical outcomes for executives
Bonus Points
- Existing relationships with healthcare decision-makers
- Experience selling AI/ML in healthcare settings
- Knowledge of value-based care, population health, or social determinants of health
- Healthcare CRM experience (HubSpot)
- Understanding of healthcare interoperability and data exchange
Why You'll Love This
Uncapped earning potential with competitive OTE structure
Strong base salary reflecting your healthcare expertise
Generous PTO for true work-life balance
Work from anywhere in the USA
Career growth as an early member of our healthcare expansion, with a clear leadership path
Full support: Healthcare case studies, compliance docs, AI/ML use cases, and technical experts to help you win
Make an impact: Every deal you close helps improve patient care and transform healthcare delivery
Why This Matters
You're not selling software hours. You're connecting healthcare organizations with AI/ML solutions that predict patient deterioration, reduce clinician burnout, improve medication adherence, and make care more accessible.
Every new logo you bring creates real change in healthcare.
