About the Team
Workday is the leader in enterprise-class, software-as-a-service (SaaS) Human Capital Management and Financial Management solutions. As a Senior Services Executive, you will toggle between traditional implementation planning and strategic advisory. Our Large Enterprise Services Sales Executives are responsible for the planning, management, and execution of Professional Services business development activities, but with a specific focus on the "Art of the Possible." You will be a key member of the Workday Account Team, supporting the deployment strategy for Workday Subscription sales in the Diversified Industry market segment.
About the Role
You will use your experience in consulting and change management to help customers visualize a transformation powered by Workday Solutions. What you’ll do:
- Drive Strategic Value: Effectively position the value of Workday’s deployment methodology, moving the conversation beyond technical setup to business transformation, AI-driven efficiency, and data insights.
- Evangelize Innovation: Act as the subject matter expert on how Workday solutions can solve unique business problems, distinguishing our platform from legacy competitors.
- Consultative Discovery: Conduct services discovery sessions focused on business outcomes, change readiness, and strategic goals rather than just functional requirements.
- Partner Alignment: Cultivate deep, mutually beneficial relationships with Big SI partners, ensuring alignment on deployment strategy and commercial models.
- Commercial Execution: Lead, negotiate, and close Professional Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and other contractual documentation with a focus on value-based outcomes.

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
