Pinterest Spark — because stepping away shouldn't mean falling behind
At Pinterest, our mission is to bring everyone the inspiration to create a life they love — and that starts with our own people. Life's biggest moments shouldn't come at the cost of the career you've built.
That's why we created Pinterest Spark.
What it is. Spark is a dedicated team of tenured Client Partners and Client Account Managers who step in to look after a colleague's clients and business while they're on a leave of absence. They safeguard relationships and revenue, keep the work moving, and hand back a healthy, thriving book when our teammate returns.
What it means for you. When you take a leave, you can be fully present for what matters — knowing your clients are in expert hands and there's a strong business to come back to, providing the confidence to step away, and the momentum to step back in.
Because creating a life you love means being able to step away — and Spark keeps your business thriving while you do.
Pinterest's Spark program is a full-time staffing model purpose-built to ensure uninterrupted client service and consistent business performance during periods of extended employee leave, including parental and medical absences. Each engagement offers genuine ownership of high-value client relationships, hands-on expertise across Pinterest's full-funnel advertising solutions, and direct contribution to the North America Enterprise organization. Hires join Pinterest as regular, full-time employees, fully embedded within their teams and client portfolios from day one, with assignments typically scoped for approximately 6 months and subject to extension based on business needs.
As a Client Partner at Pinterest, you will serve as a strategic visionary, cultivating trusted relationships with top-tier clients through your deep expertise in full-funnel sales. By leveraging your nuanced understanding of client businesses, you will independently engage assigned customer accounts to promote Pinterest products effectively. Your primary responsibilities include meeting performance targets, developing new business, maintaining and expanding customer relationships, and resolving specific customer issues. By guiding clients’ efforts, you'll drive value for millions of Pinners seeking inspiration and action, forming strategic alliances both internally and externally. Success in this role depends on your ability to drive substantial revenue growth and spearhead a vision for long-term client success in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
