Software Engineer Intern

TwoWay builds next-gen software with traders, for traders.

We optimize trading workflows in financial institutions, transforming high-volume chat messages into structured market data in real time. This helps traders stay ahead of the market, cut operational risk, and save time — all while fitting into existing workflows and screen space.

We collaborate closely with top-tier EU and US investment banks and other financial institutions to solve real, complex problems that matter.

Our promise:

🔒 Operational efficiency – Reduce manual errors and mitigate operational risk at scale
📈 Performance under pressure – In volatile markets, boost desk efficiency and capture more revenue
🌍 Client & market impact – Help desks deliver sharper prices, serve more clients, and scale with leaner teams

We deeply care about:

🚀 Performance – real-time, zero-latency data processing that enhances decision-making and pricing accuracy.

🎯 Design – user-centric from day one, tailored for the complex realities of trading desks.

🌍 Impact – enabling traders to operate more efficiently in stressful environments and helping banks better serve their clients.

If this resonates with you — if you're excited by our mission, thrive in high-stakes, high-impact environments, and are curious, open, and always learning — we’d love to hear from you.

Vos missions

You will report directly to our CTO, which is an amazing opportunity to learn fast and grow.

As a Software Engineer Intern at TwoWay, you’ll be part of a fast-moving team building critical tools for investment bank traders. This is not a typical internship — you’ll work on real features, contribute to core product decisions, and ship code that goes into production.

You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers, product designers, and the founders. From day one, you’ll be trusted with meaningful responsibility and given the support to learn and grow quickly.

As a key member of the team, you’ll do the following missions:

• Build and improve core features of our web application, from backend logic to frontend UI
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new components and APIs
• Collaborate with the product team to understand user needs and translate them into clean, maintainable code
• Write tests and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality
• Investigate and fix bugs in a fast-paced production environment
• Learn best practices in software development, DevOps, and product iteration in a startup setting

We are looking for a 6 to 12-month internship, starting as soon as possible.

Vos compétences

You’d be a great fit if you

• Build Fullstack Products: You’re comfortable working across the stack — with experience or strong interest in modern frameworks like SvelteKit on the frontend and NestJS or Node.js on the backend. You love shipping features end-to-end.
• Thrive in Fast-Paced Environments: You’re energized by startups. You enjoy learning quickly, taking initiative, and iterating fast in a dynamic, high-growth setting.
• Care About UX and Details: You pay attention to UI/UX consistency, performance, and believe the best software feels as good as it works.
• Think Long-Term: You understand the importance of clean code, maintainability, and security, even when moving fast.
• Stay Curious and Data-Informed: You ask questions, seek feedback, and back decisions with evidence. You’re not afraid to challenge assumptions and improve how things are done.
• Are a Strong Communicator: You explain technical ideas clearly, ask for help when needed, and enjoy collaborating with product and design peers.

Avantages
