Zscaler (NASDAQ: ZS) accelerates digital transformation so customers can be more agile, efficient, resilient, and secure. The Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform protects thousands of customers from cyberattacks and data loss by securely connecting users, devices, and applications in any location. Distributed across 200+ public data centers globally and thousands of private sites at the edge, the SASE-based Zero Trust Exchange is the world’s largest in-line cloud security platform.
We believe the future of work is Human + AI and are building an AI-native enterprise where human potential is amplified by machine intelligence to solve the world’s hardest security challenges. Driven by deep customer obsession, we are committed to the mission, outcome, and to each other. We bring these commitments to life through three core behaviors: ownership and collaboration, trust through outcomes and impact, and a challenge culture with ongoing feedback. Ready to make an impact at the company pioneering security transformation in the AI era? Join us at Zscaler.
Role
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager, Professional Services to join our team. This is a Remote (US Remote - Central Time Zone preferred) role, reporting to the Manager, Professional Services. In this role, you will lead high-impact, enterprise-level customer deployments of the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform from kickoff through project closure. You will act as the primary trusted advisor and central point of contact during deployment, orchestrating technical resources and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, secure business outcomes.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Take full accountability for the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of concurrent, complex customer deployments, covering planning, execution, governance, risk management, and formal project sign-off
- Lead multiple concurrent customer engagements spanning Zero Trust deployments, legacy security tool migrations, architecture assessments, and ongoing optimization programs
- Define, track, and report on deployment success criteria, metrics, milestones, and timelines to ensure projects stay on schedule, within scope, and aligned to business outcomes
- Develop and maintain rigorous project documentation, including project charters, schedules, RAID logs, resource allocations, and regular status reports
- Partner closely with internal specialists and customer stakeholders to proactively identify roadblocks, manage escalations, drive operational enablement, and champion AI-driven project management tools
Who You Are (Success Profile)
- You thrive in ambiguity. You are comfortable building the path as you walk it, navigating dynamic and evolving environments with confidence, viewing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as raw material to build something meaningful.
- You act like an owner. Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action, operating with high dynamic range to move seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
- You are a problem-solver. You seek out challenges because you are energized by finding solutions, knowing that solving hard problems delivers the biggest impact for customers.
- You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team's collective success, embracing clear communication, constructive candor, and bidirectional feedback to build lasting trust.
- You are a learner. You bring a dedicated growth mindset, continuously developing yourself and expanding your technical and domain expertise to sharpen your delivery craft.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
- 5+ years of formal project or program management experience delivering customer-facing technical solutions within a professional services, consulting, or enterprise SaaS deployment environment
- Active or in-progress Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent recognized project management certification
- Practical understanding of foundational networking and security concepts, including firewalls, proxies, secure web gateways (SWG), and VPN architectures
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with proven ability to command executive briefings and facilitate technical workshops
- Ability to support customer engagements across standard US business hours (Central Time Zone preferred) with willingness to travel for on-site kickoffs and design workshops as needed
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Direct experience managing large-scale deployments of Zero Trust architecture, SASE, or enterprise cloud security platforms (e.g., ZIA, ZPA, ZDX)
- Hands-on proficiency with Professional Services Automation (PSA) and work management platforms such as Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
- Proven track record leading complex enterprise digital transformations, including experience integrating predictive analytics, generative AI, or workflow automation into PMO reporting
