Senior Java Engineer Event-Driven Capital Markets Systems (Front to Back) x2

Be Part Of A High-Performing Team

This role supports a global financial services organization building and enhancing enterprise-scale capital markets platforms. The team designs and operates front-to-back systems that process high-volume financial events across multiple asset classes, supporting trade execution, lifecycle management, and downstream operational workflows. Engineers work closely with product, operations, and platform teams to ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and aligned with complex financial product behavior in regulated environments.

What s In Store For You

This engagement offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical, event-driven systems that support the full lifecycle of financial products across asset classes. You ll contribute to modern distributed architectures, work with cloud-native platforms, and help shape data models that power trading, risk, and post-trade operations. The role provides long-term project stability and exposure to complex, real-world capital markets engineering challenges.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based front-to-back applications supporting capital markets workflows
• Build and enhance event-driven architectures that process trade, position, and lifecycle events at scale
• Model financial products and their associated event lifecycles across multiple asset classes
• Develop services that publish and consume events used by downstream systems such as risk, P&L, reconciliation, and reporting
• Work with both relational and non-relational databases to support transactional and analytical workloads
• Contribute to cloud-native architectures deployed on AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability and resilience
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure system reliability and data integrity
• Troubleshoot production issues in distributed systems using logs, metrics, and tracing
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and operations teams in a highly regulated environment
