About the role
Founded in 2017, refurbed is Europe’s fastest-growing marketplace for refurbished products, active in 23 European countries and having surpassed €2Bn in GMV — all while being profitable. With beautiful headquarters in Vienna, we operate as a remote-first company and have been recognised as a Top DACH Employer by Kununu for four consecutive years.
Our mission is to make sustainable consumption the easy choice by enabling customers to buy products up to 40% cheaper while significantly reducing CO₂ emissions.
If you thrive in an environment that values momentum, ownership, and impact, you’ll feel at home here. We’re a fast-paced, high-performance team that works hard and challenges itself everyday. To enable this high-performance every team member enjoys full autonomy over their location (we’re remote-first).
Do you want to use your passion and talent to make consumption more sustainable?
We're Europe’s fastest-growing marketplace for refurbished products, empowering customers to acquire items up to 40% cheaper while making a substantial impact on reducing CO₂ emissions compared to buying new devices.
Since our launch in February 2017, we grew to more than 300 employees and expanded across the European region. Throughout this journey, we’ve successfully concluded three substantial funding rounds, selling hundreds of thousands of products. Thanks to our team’s efforts, we were recognized as the Top Employer in the DACH region (2023 and 2024) by Kununu and secured the title of an ACM Preferred Employer (2023).
For our Engineering team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer (f/m/x) with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable backend services and intuitive frontend experiences. You’ll work across our marketplace, delivering reliable, high-performance features across the stack. You’ll design and build scalable backend services in Go and contribute to modern frontend experiences using Vue, with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, code quality, and long-term maintainability.
Together with you and your talent, we want to make consumption sustainable and build the leading marketplace for refurbished products in Europe. Join us on our mission!
