About Baringa
Baringa is a global consulting firm that partners with leaders to drive change and create value. With deep industry expertise, and enabled by advanced technology, the firm helps clients to deliver with greater confidence and certainty. With over 2,000 people across the UK, Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, the firm combines global insight with local understanding. The firm works across energy and resources, financial services, government and public sector, consumer products and retail, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, manufacturing, and technology, media and telecoms, with capabilities spanning strategy, transformation and operational excellence – all powered by advanced technology, data, AI and digital innovation. Clients value Baringa’s collaborative approach and the way its teams integrate seamlessly – all working with a shared understanding of what matters most. The firm is known for its kind, curious experts who listen closely and care deeply about client success as they help clients transform energy markets, modernise financial platforms, expand telecoms and digital networks through advanced data analytics, enable digital services in government, and unlock growth in consumer sectors. Certified as a Great Place to Work around the world, Baringa has been recognised by the Financial Times in 22 categories of its UK Leading Management Consultants rankings, and by Forbes for four consecutive years as one of the World’s Best Management Consulting Firms.

Our Enterprise Value Creation practice in London is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Consultant to join the team.
Expectations of value have changed. The EVC team helps clients achieve sustainable P&L improvement, addressing short-term financial priorities while building long-term value for shareholders. Our AI-Enabled Operations team helps organisations reimagine how their operations work and create measurable value through AI, automation and operational improvement – from finding where AI genuinely pays back to making sure the benefits land in the P&L. You will work with clients across our industry sectors: Financial Services, Products & Services, Energy & Resources, Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences, and Government.
What you will be doing

Run operational, AI and automation diagnostics across functions and end-to-end processes, using data to baseline cost, effort and productivity and to quantify opportunities

Identify how each opportunity is best addressed – process redesign, better data, AI, automation or a combination – and build the business case

Redesign end-to-end processes to remove unnecessary work before applying technology, and design the human oversight, controls and governance that AI-enabled operations need

Translate business needs into clear requirements for technical delivery teams, and test whether proposed solutions are fit for purpose

Support implementation and adoption alongside systems integrators, vendors and the people who do the work, and track benefits through to realisation

Help clients build their own capability through knowledge transfer, so that improvements last

Work closely with colleagues across Baringa to bring the right expertise to each client

Support the development of more junior colleagues and contribute to growing the UK EVC team

 Your skills and experience
We are looking for curious, collaborative people with typically 3 to 6 years of relevant experience who enjoy solving problems and seeing their work make a measurable difference for clients.
