By helping people make sense of their family history and uncover meaningful connections, we empower millions of members to continue exploring the stories that shape who they are.

This role is focused on creating a best-in-class experience for our DNA customers. • Articulate design decisions, rationale, and tradeoffs clearly to align cross-functional partners.
• Contribute positively to team culture through active participation in design critiques, feedback sessions, and peer collaboration.

Who you are

• Demonstrated experience designing direct-to-consumer products, with a portfolio showcasing intuitive, polished digital experiences.
• Comfortable delivering feature execution end-to-end and delivering high-quality work on time.
• Skilled at turning complex information and workflows into intuitive, approachable experiences.
• Thoughtful systems thinker who effectively leverages established design systems to maintain consistency across core user journeys.
• Strong visual and interaction design craft, with sharp attention to detail, UI polish, and accessibility standards.
• Clear communicator who effectively articulates design intent, rationale, and tradeoffs.
• Customer-focused mindset, with experience incorporating user research, feedback, and usability testing directly into design iterations.
• Experienced partner to product managers, engineers, and researchers, collaborating daily to deliver impactful features and strengthen team culture.
• Passionate about helping people make meaningful discoveries and connect deeply with their family history and DNA insights.
