As Principal Product Manager, Software Factory, you’ll define and bring together GitLab’s end-to-end software creation experience, from planning and specification through coding, review, and verification. You’ll connect capabilities across GitLab Duo Agent Platform and the wider GitLab product so customers have a cohesive and delightful experience. This is a senior, high-visibility role for a product leader who can shape product direction, work across organizational boundaries, and clearly present recommendations to executive leaders.
We welcome candidates with different backgrounds and transferable experience. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification.
This role will work across GitLab to connect the teams building the future of our AI-powered DevSecOps platform. You’ll partner closely with the GitLab Duo Agent Platform organization and with product areas that own key parts of the software development workflow. The team’s central challenge is to turn work delivered across several groups into one clear, end-to-end experience for customers while supporting GitLab’s mission to enable everyone to contribute to and co-create the software that powers our world.
Please note that we welcome interest from candidates with varying levels of experience; many successful candidates do not meet every single requirement. Additionally, studies have shown that people from underrepresented groups are less likely to apply to a job unless they meet every single qualification. If you're excited about this role, please apply and allow our recruiters to assess your application.
