Performance Marketing Manager

Why we do what we do

The mind is our window to the world. It can paint everything outside in grey or in bright colors. Whoever finds access to that window can change their perspective every day, and psychological hurdles can become chances to grow. Happiness spreads from one person to the next and across a whole society, like a quiet revolution, one mind at a time.

Who we are

Our mission inspires us and challenges us. Our skills, thoughts and ideas go into a product that reaches thousands of people, and that brings responsibility with it. The work asks for passion, integrity and the courage to try things no one has tried before.

A team full of people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world they live in. Yes, we are a hardworking team, but not for us alone, not for money or personal fame, but for the people we serve at the center of our efforts: Our team, clients, psychologists on our platform and supporters across the country.

Why this role exists

Aepsy serves three audiences, each with its own timeline. Clients need support now. Psychologists are building their practice. Employers are deciding whether to unlock access for their whole team.

This role leads performance marketing for all three: how people find Aepsy, what actually works, and what the numbers suggest we do next.

Marketing at Aepsy is a small, focused team, and every role has a clear place in it. The Creative Marketing Lead owns copy and shapes the campaigns. The Art Director builds the visual language. The Growth Performance Architect owns the measurement architecture. You work closely with all three, bringing campaigns to the right people through the right channels, finding out what worked, and helping the team decide what to keep, change or stop.

Performance with principles

Our values shape how we advertise. Privacy is non-negotiable. Anyone visiting a mental health platform deserves the highest level of privacy and data security. That means no urgency or fear in our messages, no before-and-after claims, and no targeting or retargeting based on health data or other sensitive personal information.

Sometimes this makes a number harder to reach. It also builds trust that lasts, and that trust is why people choose Aepsy. If strong performance combined with strong principles sounds like the challenge you’ve been looking for, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

• Own performance across all funnels. Clients may decide within days. Employers take longer and involve several people. Together with the colleagues closest to each audience, you define what success means for each one.

• Run paid media end to end on Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn. That covers structure, bidding, audiences, creative rotation, and both awareness and conversion, plus the judgement to know which of the two you’re working on.

• Read the numbers and get more out of them. The Growth Performance Architect builds the measurement setup with you. You turn it into insights the team can act on.

• Turn patterns into decisions. Why do people who considered Aepsy drop off before deciding? Does the response to a creative suggest it should run weekly rather than monthly? Answering questions like these is the core of the role.

• Shape how people find support. Search is changing fast, and new ways of discovering things are emerging. You’ll help decide how people find Aepsy when they need it most.

• Help build the team’s marketing rhythm. You’ll set up the flow for campaigns, newsletters and more, from first idea to delivery, so the whole team can rely on it.

What you bring

• Three to four years in performance marketing, including campaigns you’ve run end to end and at least one that didn’t go as planned and taught you something.

• A data-driven mindset with a real feel for brand and content.

• Confidence running Meta and Google on your own, and experience with TikTok or LinkedIn for reaching HR leads and psychologists. Bring the channels you’ve found work best.

• Judgement that weighs data together with values. The field is sensitive, Switzerland is a small multilingual market, and the mission matters.

• Fluent (Swiss) German and English. Aepsy works in four languages, German is the largest market, and most partners and HR leads communicate in German.

• A habit of noticing a step that repeats and improving it, using AI in your daily work.

Strongly preferred

• SEO and GEO basics, and curiosity about how AI search engines choose which sources to cite.

• Lifecycle marketing experience: segmentation, triggers and deliverability.

• Experience at an organisation with strong convictions, and enjoyment of doing great work within clear principles.

What we offer

• Work that matters. Every campaign you improve helps someone find support a little sooner. Your skills serve something bigger than a conversion rate.

• A team that has your back. The Creative Marketing Lead, Art Director, Growth Performance Architect and Head of Marketing are each strong in their field. You’ll never have to face a number alone.

• A strong foundation. You’ll build on a product people trust, a network of qualified psychologists, partnerships with employers and insurers, and values clear enough to make hard decisions easier.

• Room to shape things. There are three audiences, several funnels, a content area being rebuilt, and a search landscape that AI is changing. Your ideas will have impact, and you’ll see it.

• A short line to decisions. You’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing and have access to leadership strategy.

• Modern tools, including AI, and the freedom to use them well.

• Time to recharge: five weeks of holiday and a mental health benefit (of course).

Together with us

We’re a young, ambitious team with diverse backgrounds and beliefs. We love conversations about the big picture and about the small details. We believe in what we do and work hard for a slightly better world. We’re also friends, parents, partners, stand-up comedians, yoga beginners and Zen monks who enjoy life.

Sleep on it. Read it again. Then take a deep breath and send us:

• Your CV and a personal cover letter. We read every letter carefully, so tell us what motivates you, why this mission matters to you, and why this role, right now.

• Whatever shows your thinking best. A short note is enough. One campaign you can explain well is worth more than a full portfolio.

In our conversation we’ll be curious about two things: a number that proved you wrong, and something you decided to stop doing.

PS: Please skip the generic, AI-generated cover letter. A few honest lines in your own words mean much more to us. The time you save is better spent in the sun, on a walk in the forest or with a friend. Life is too beautiful for impersonal cover letters :)
