People (ER) Advisor - London

About Us

Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is the intelligent platform for travel and spend management. Built to tackle the time-consuming, manual work that gets in the way of real work, our tools automate everything from travel bookings to expenses, invoice processing, and more. By eliminating this shadow work that wastes hours, erodes morale, and saps innovation, we're on a mission to power real work, with real impact.

We're trusted by more than 12,000 companies worldwide, including Bolt, GoCardless, and Fabletics, and we're tackling the 7 hours of lost productivity per employee each week, a $1.7 trillion problem.

Founded in 2015, Perk has grown into a global company of more than 1,800 people across 12 offices globally, with headquarters in London and Boston. We combine innovation, control, and simplicity to transform how businesses work and how people feel at work.

At Perk, we're driven by our values, like being an owner, delivering a 7-star experience, and working as one team. We value curiosity, purpose, and mindset, not just knowledge, to unlock the power in your potential. Our talent team brings together leading minds from the travel, fintech, and SaaS industries, representing over 70 countries. If you're excited about having a real impact and shaping how millions of people experience work, we'd love you on the team.

The Role
We’re scaling rapidly, and as we expand our reach, launch new products, and enter new markets, we need to stay sharp, scalable, and human. That’s where you come in.

We’re introducing a new role within People; we’re looking for a People Advisor to harness systems and AI to develop and improve how we manage employee relations cases, casework insights, and proactively support the business to better lead their teams.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has the curiosity to maximise the use of technology integration for better ways of working, and has experience handling multiple ER cases on an international remit. Our team of People Advisors will be across the UK, Barcelona, and Boston.

If you want to make a meaningful impact on people and performance, we’d love to meet you!

What you’ll do

• You’ll develop and evolve ways of working across case management, data, and manager enablement using AI integration tools.

• You’ll reinforce leader-led decisions by effectively co-piloting with managers on how to handle performance, conduct, and probation cases, attendance concerns, policy guidance, and changes to terms and conditions.

• You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant documentation, providing high-quality support to managers, and ensuring consistent application of people policies and the Perk approach across the region.

• Provide data insights and highlight trends or early flags to ensure early intervention can be delivered.

• Ensure efficiency in case management and minimise case timelines from open to resolution as appropriate.

• Partner across the People Team and wider business to ensure smooth alignment and delivery of ER cases.

What success looks like

• Enhanced and embedded ways of working across casework.

• Manager satisfaction with co-pilot support provided on cases.

• Timely progression of cases and reduced delays.

• Strong partnership with People Team and wider business.

• Clear, reliable case data that supports planning and risk reduction.

• High documentation accuracy and compliance.

What you’ll bring

• Curiosity to explore and build enhanced approaches to our ways of working. Ideally having built and implemented AI-first approaches to workstreams.

• Strong judgement and ability to follow structured case processes as well as act on sound judgement when alternative approaches are required.

• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of employee relations processes across Europe or the US.

• Strong experience managing multiple ER cases, particularly with performance and conduct cases.

• Ability to organise, document, and track ER matters with accuracy.

• High attention to detail.

AI at Perk
AI is embedded in how we work across every function. The tools you'll use day-to-day are AI-enabled so you can move faster and spend more time on the work that matters. In practice, that means using AI to research and prioritise accounts, draft and refine outreach, handle customer interactions more effectively, synthesise information, and cut through shadow work - the invisible tasks that pull people away from the work only they can do - so you can focus on relationships and outcomes.
