About the role
We need an experienced translation and interpretation operations professional for a quick, one-time 2 to 3-hour project this week.
We have prepared an AI-generated pricing calculator (Excel matrix) and an outreach/client experience messaging cheat sheet. We need an expert eye to double-check, clean up, and fix our logic before our sales team launches.
This is a strict 1-time project for 2 to 3 hours total at $30 to $40 per hour
Core Responsibilities:
- Audit our translation quotation matrix to ensure Translation Memory (TM) match tiers and gross profit margins are mathematically accurate against vendor rate cards.
- Review our interpretation budgeting logic to ensure client quotes safely account for hidden operational costs (such as travel, equipment, or booking hourly minimums).
- Verify that our client-facing sales messaging scripts align with standard market expectations and local Canadian regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience working as a Project Manager, Coordinator, or Operations lead inside a Canadian language services bureau.
- Proven familiarity with building pricing quotes, client budgets, and target profit margins for both written translation and live interpretation pipelines.
- Immediate availability to look at the documents and hop on a brief call this week.
