Negotiation Manager

Are you the explorer who will help us conquer new territories?

Do terms like CPMs, SPO, and margin management get your adrenaline rushing? Do you speak fluent DSP, SSP, and Ad Server? If so, we’ve got the ultimate playground for you. At WPP Media, we are growing faster than the latest viral trends. To fuel our international expansion, we need a commercial wizard who can open doors in non-Dutch markets. Someone who closes deals with international publishers like a pro, but also deeply understands the ad tech under the hood. In short: we are looking for an International Supply Pioneer to take our programmatic supply strategy to the stratosphere.

Your mission? Finding the ultimate sweet spot between rock-solid relationships and razor-sharp commercial deals. Here is how you’ll make an impact:

1. Commercial Settings (The Art of the Deal) 💸

• You will drive international growth by securing commercial agreements with publishers in non-Dutch markets.
• You’ll analyze inventory value per publisher while keeping a sharp eye on the general interests of the group.
• Creating rate cards, managing operational templates, and conducting market research for new and existing markets? Easy peasy. You spot opportunities and neutralize threats before they even hit the radar.

2. Relationship Management 🤝

• You will maintain—and where possible, elevate—existing relationships with international publishers.
• Expectation management is your middle name. You clearly communicate our standards (volumes, quality) while smoothly managing demand from our side.

3. Operational Control📊

• You hold the master key to our total spend (and spend per publisher) across all active markets. If something goes off-track, you take immediate action.
• You are the go-to support for our Solutions Managers on supply-related matters and lead the charge in troubleshooting supply issues with technical teams and publishers.

 Responsibilities:

• Relationship Management: Cherish existing publisher connections and establish new ones as business opportunities arise (partly by leveraging the powerhouse WPP network).
• Green Light: Ensure all deals and conditions are fully approved and locked in before going live.
• Curation & SPO: Curate supply and optimize the Supply Path (SPO) for our key strategic international services client.
• Innovation: Identify areas for continuous supply innovation, ensuring we strictly adhere to WPP Media best practices for programmatic buying.
• Margin Control: Monitor and manage margins across all programmatic channels to ensure we hit our goals, collaborating with Solutions Leads to tackle any anomalies.
• Internal Sparring Partner: Collaborate across various departments to align, develop, and evaluate supply strategies.
• Trendwatching: Keep a close eye on our supply partners' latest buying models.
• Troubleshooting: Assist craft teams in resolving deal issues when technical supply snags occur.
• Quality First: Maintain market-specific inclusion lists to guarantee we buy nothing but high-quality media across all products and services.

Who Are You?

• You have at least 3+ years of experience in (programmatic) supply or campaign management—for example, as a programmatic trader working with DSPs like DV360 or The Trade Desk.
• You have a solid understanding of the digital media landscape in the local and EMEA region.
• You are fluent in programmatic technology: SSPs, ad exchanges, DSPs, ad servers, and data providers.
• Experience in deal negotiation is a major plus.
• You have strong analytical and math skills (data is your friend).
• You possess excellent communication and writing skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
• You have effective time-management skills—you know how to prioritize and crush deadlines under pressure.

• Impact and Autonomy: A responsible and challenging role with significant freedom and room to develop and implement your own vision.
• Top-tier Client Portfolio: An impressive client portfolio consisting of leading A-brands, each with unique identities, collaboration opportunities, and growth potential.
• Open & Authentic Culture: An open communication culture and a friendly, collaborative atmosphere where authenticity is valued.
• Hybrid Working: A hybrid work environment with flexibility between working from home and at one of our three campuses.
• Continuous Learning: Unlimited access to our M-Academy, a comprehensive platform offering both in-person training and online modules to develop your hard and soft skills.
• Travel Allowance: Full reimbursement of your travel expenses.
• Holidays & Allowance: 8% holiday allowance and 26 holiday days per year (with the option to buy up to 9 extra days!).
• Hybrid Working Allowance: A net allowance of €30 per month (based on full-time employment).
• Bring Your Own Device (BYOD): A monthly net phone allowance of €57.50.
• Epassi-vergoeding van €10 per maand die je kunt uitgeven aan persoonlijke behoeften.
• Great Lunch Facilities: Affordable lunch options in our canteen and an on-site barista for fresh coffee.
• Health Insurance: Benefit from our collective health insurance scheme.
