Moderation and Compliance Executive

📍 Remote / London

Fanvue is one of the fastest-growing creator monetisation platforms globally. We’re an AI-powered, creator-first platform helping creators connect, engage, and earn directly from their audiences at scale. Fanvue has surpassed $200m+ in annual recurring revenue, with triple-digit year-on-year growth, supporting hundreds of thousands of creators and millions of fans worldwide.

Content volume is rising fast, and automated detection handles a growing share of low-risk cases. The work that matters most is still human-led: high-risk decisions where context and judgement matter. This role helps keep creators and fans safe, improves policy and tooling through real-world feedback, and keeps us audit-ready as we scale.

🎯 The Role

We’re hiring a Moderation & Compliance Executive to protect platform integrity by reviewing content, investigating violations, and making fast, fair decisions at scale. You’ll report to our Moderation Manager as part of the Trust & Safety team.

This is an overnight role: 2am to 9am UK time, Tuesday to Saturday. We’re fully remote. If those hours fall in your normal working day where you’re based, even better.

🚀 What You’ll Do

• Review and action user-generated content against Fanvue’s content and community guidelines

• Investigate Terms of Service violations (explicit content policy breaches, impersonation, copyright claims/DMCA, off-platform risks)

• Work moderation queues in our tooling, prioritising by risk and turnaround time

• Escalate high-risk and edge cases to the Moderation Manager and Head of Trust & Safety, with clear decision notes

• Spot patterns and emerging risks, and feed insights back into policy and tooling improvements

• Keep clean records of decisions to support audits, compliance reviews, and appeals

• Partner with Support and Creator teams on escalations involving account restrictions or compliance concerns

• Cover the overnight shift reliably and handle sensitive content with consistency, empathy, and fairness

👀 Who You Are

• 2+ years in Trust & Safety, content moderation, or compliance (ideally in UGC, social, or platform environments)

• Strong judgement and fast decision-making on grey-area cases

• Clear written communication, high discretion, and calm handling of sensitive content

• Comfortable using tools like Slack, Notion, Intercom, Retool (or similar)

• Valuable: moderation frameworks, DMCA workflows, Online Safety Act, EU Digital Services Act, platform TOS enforcement

• Comfortable reviewing adult-only (18+) content

✨ You’ll Thrive Here If

• You like high-signal operations work and making principled decisions quickly

• You care about fairness, consistency, and auditability, not just queue volume

• You can handle edge cases without freezing, and escalate cleanly when needed

• You enjoy improving systems (templates, tags, decision notes) as well as executing

⚠️ You’ll Struggle Here If

• You need rigid rules for every decision

• You are uncomfortable with adult content

• You can’t commit to regular overnight hours

• You avoid accountability for decisions and documentation quality

• You need close supervision to stay on track

🌍 Why Join Fanvue?

• Sunday Times Best Places to Work, two years running. We don’t just say we have great culture, we prove it

• Real input into policy, tooling, and how Trust & Safety operates day-to-day, with strong engineering support and a tight loop from operations to product

• AI-native: we are not bolting AI on, it’s core to our product and how we work

• Fully remote

• High annual leave flexibility

• Support with upskilling and development costs

• Benefits package including gym memberships, apps, and more we’re actively building out
