Mid-Market Account Executive

Candidate Safety Notice

About the Opportunity:

As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle. This is not a role where success depends solely on inbound leads or SDR support. We’re looking for true hunters — sales professionals who take pride in building pipeline from the ground up and creating momentum through consistent outbound activity.

You’ll partner closely with SDRs, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Leadership to drive revenue growth and deliver an exceptional buying experience, but your ability to proactively generate opportunities will be critical to your success.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants to make an impact, grow quickly, and help shape a winning sales culture. If you are a self-starter who thrives on activity, loves competing, and wants to sell a product that genuinely solves a problem HR and talent teams care deeply about, this is your role.

About the Team:

You’ll be a part of a high-performing Mid-Market sales team focused on driving new business growth through disciplined outbound execution and consultative selling. This is a metrics-driven, high-activity environment where accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement are core to success. The team is deeply collaborative and plays a critical role in scaling pipeline, revenue, and repeatable sales performance across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across Mid-Market accounts

• Build and manage your own pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and account penetration

• Create targeted account lists, prioritize outreach strategies, and develop territory plans that generate consistent pipeline

• Execute high-volume outbound activity, including cold calling, as a primary driver of new opportunity creation

• Confidently engage decision-makers and executives through proactive outreach efforts

• Run strategic discovery conversations with HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Executive stakeholders

• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and business value presentations

• Navigate multi-threaded sales cycles with urgency and precision

• Develop account strategies that drive expansion opportunities and long-term customer value

• Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Consultants, Legal, Security, Finance, and Customer Success to move deals efficiently

• Maintain accurate forecasting and strong pipeline hygiene in CRM

• Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets

• Bring energy, accountability, and a team-first mentality to the broader sales organization

What You Bring:

• 3–7+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience

• Proven success generating pipeline and closing Mid-Market or Commercial deals in a competitive environment

• Demonstrated ability to build opportunities through outbound prospecting and cold calling

• Strong track record of exceeding quota and driving self-sourced revenue

• Comfortable operating in a high-activity, metrics-driven sales environment

• Experience building account plans, prioritizing outreach, and managing territory strategy

• Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

• High urgency, resilience, strong business acumen, and relentless follow-through

• Coachable, collaborative, and motivated by winning as a team

Extra bonus points if you’ve sold SaaS or HR tech before.
