Your future team

We who work in your future team are passionate engineers who love technology and tough technical challenges. We highly value creativity, collaboration, and openness. You will be overwhelmed by your colleagues' helpfulness and their willingness to help you develop.

We are multiple functions working together to develop, improve, and deliver world-class products!

What you'll do here as a mechanical engineer

As a mechanical engineer on System products, you will work on product development in areas such as body-worn cameras, recorders, microphone products, and other system devices. Much of your daily work is in projects where the project team consists of different functions and competencies. The length of a project typically ranges from 6 months to 2 years.

In the project, you work closely with electronics, firmware, and many other internal functions such as quality, testing, production, and purchasing. In the projects, you drive the mechanical development together with a few colleagues from concept study to mass production. These tasks include designing the product, creating prototypes, communicating with suppliers, verifying the product, and preparing the product for mass production.

To optimize the production of the design, you also have close contact with our suppliers around the world. The portfolio includes both large and small projects, and several of the product types we develop are new to us, so unknown challenges and opportunities for variation are promised.

In your work, you will also meet and work together with product managers, project leaders, line managers, and engineers from other departments and competencies.

Who are you?

We are looking for a team-oriented colleague with a positive mindset. You love challenges and working together with others. You are passionate about product development from the first idea to holding the product in your hand. You like to challenge old truths and develop new innovative products. You are considerate and value good communication.

Finally, and most importantly, you love being part of a creative and happy team that delivers outstanding products!

In our department, we work with both mechanical designs, electromechanics, and several different types of manufacturing methods. We would like you to have experience or a strong interest in some of these areas (new graduates are welcome to apply):

• Knowledge of at least one 3D CAD system, preferably Creo.
• Prototype creation
• Mechanical engineering background
• Windchill/Creo knowledge
• Injection molding/diecast/sheet metal
• Design for production
• Product development in telecommunications (4G, 5G), Wi-Fi, or GPS
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
