About the role
Zaden Technologies is a defense technology company based in Huntsville, Alabama. We build AI, DevSecOps and digital engineering products and put them to work for DoD customers.
This position is contingent upon contract award. It supports a new Defense Health Agency program, and the start date follows award and Government access.
You'll run the application servers and databases behind a health data exchange platform's legacy SOAP services, keep them patched and compliant, and prove they can be restored, while the program moves the services to a new platform. The first production problem at 3:00 AM reaches you.
What you'll do:
Administer application servers and databases on the Government's approved engines
Operate SOAP and WS-Security services, including certificate and keystore management
Apply STIGs and IAVM remediation on legacy hosts and keep the evidence current
Run backup and restore tests on a schedule and after every change
Support the migration of each legacy service to the new platform
Must have:
5 or more years administering application servers and relational databases in production
SOAP and WS-Security operations experience
STIG and IAVM remediation on DoD or federal systems
Restore testing you've run, not just planned
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the Tier 3 investigation and IT-II designation this privileged role needs
Nice to have:
An active Secret clearance or Secret eligibility
Oracle or PostgreSQL administration
AWS GovCloud experience
Healthcare or DHA environment experience
Location: Remote within the United States. Zaden's home office is Huntsville, Alabama.
