Role Summary:
The Lead Specialist is responsible for driving end-to-end planning and inventory execution to ensure optimal in-stock, inventory health and business performance. This role integrates demand signals with inventory actions and partners cross-functionally to deliver strong business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end planning and inventory execution across assigned categories/divisions
- Ensure accuracy, timelines and compliance across all deliverables
- Monitor and manage key metrics such as Walk in Purchasibility, Availability, OOS and inventory health
- Leverage forecasts, promotions and seasonal trends to drive inventory decisions
- Lead medium to high complexity process ownership and captainships
- Build and enhance reporting tools, dashboards and templates
- Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Identify risks/opportunities and drive timely resolution through collaboration and escalation
- Partner with global and cross-functional teams (supply chain, merchandising, stores, fulfilment optimization) to align on priorities
- Drive process improvements through automation, reporting enhancements, and best practices
- Support projects, deep dives and strategic initiatives for the team through strong collaboration and partnerships
Stakeholder Management
- Establish regular communication with MPLS and cross-functional partners
- Share business updates, challenges and insights consistently to build a strong global team
- Build strong relationships and drive alignment across teams
Basic Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret data and translate into business actions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with strong execution rigor
Preference
- 2+ years of experience in a related field
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations/Retail/ Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Experience in Inventory Management, Demand Planning or retail operations
- Familiarity with reporting tools, dashboards, and automation (Excel, basic SQL, Data Visualization)
- Understanding of demand planning and inventory management concepts
