Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Lead Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Virtual Health Assessment team.
Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.
About the role:
Oscar Medical Group runs a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in an evaluation and management visit.
The lead nurse practitioner or physician assistant will oversee care delivered to our patients. You'll be responsible for delivering care as part of a multidisciplinary team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Medical Assistants, delivering world-class care using a unique and innovative care model. With this team, you will manage a panel of patients primarily virtually while coordinating in-person care when required.
Additionally, you may be responsible for supervising a team of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care to patients to their patient panels if needed.
You will report to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment
