kock till Pom Friterie

About the role

Pom Friterie is looking for a motivated and flexible kitchen team member to join our team, working 50–75%.

We are a Dutch-inspired restaurant specialising in Dutch fries, featuring our signature Top Frites, which have won the World Championship for Fries. Our menu also includes traditional Dutch bitterballen and classics such as steak frites, fish and chips, and steak tartare.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in food and hospitality. Previous experience as a chef is an advantage, but it is not a requirement. For us, the right mindset, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with others are just as important as experience.

Your responsibilities

Working in our kitchen means being hands-on and ready to help wherever needed. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing ingredients and cooking food to a high standard.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen.
• Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
• Assisting with food service and helping deliver dishes to customers when needed.
• Supporting your colleagues and helping out in different areas of the restaurant.

We are a small team where everyone plays an important role. No task is too small, whether you are a chef, a service team member, or the owner. We all step in and help each other whenever needed.

Who are we looking for?

We believe that the right person is someone who:

• Is flexible and enjoys a varied working day.
• Is a team player who is happy to help wherever needed.
• Is eager to learn, develop new skills, and take on responsibility.
• Has a positive attitude and takes pride in their work.
• Can work evenings and weekends, including both Saturdays and Sundays.
• Understands the importance of good food, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

Previous kitchen or chef experience is a plus, but we welcome applicants who are motivated to learn and have the right attitude.

What we offer

At Pom Friterie, you will become part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, quality, and a great atmosphere.

You will work alongside experienced chefs and service professionals, some with more than 15 years in the industry, who are happy to share their knowledge and help you develop your skills.

We take pride in what we do and always strive to give our guests a great experience. Our customers come first, and we believe that great hospitality starts with a team that supports one another.

If you are hardworking, flexible, eager to learn, and ready to become part of a team that takes pride in its food, we would love to hear from you!
