Growth & AI Marketing Operations Specialist

About Papers

Papers AG is a Swiss cyber security engineering house and an incubator for our product portfolio. We build device-level alternatives to centralized cloud and trust. Our strategy is to grow our foundational decentralized network by building high-demand enterprise products directly on top of it.

Your portfolio includes:

• Acurast: Decentralized confidential compute running on ordinary smartphones.

• Obsidio: A continuous, AI-assisted pentesting subscription. Incubated by Papers, Obsidio is built directly on Acurast, leveraging the decentralized network as a unique compute moat to battle-test networks.

• Hypergate: Enterprise mobile single sign-on for managed Android and iOS fleets.

As an engineering-driven team, we work with autonomy and purpose. Our culture is built on meritocracy, long-term thinking, and a commitment to quality over buzz, innovation is in our DNA. We aim to collaborate with people who love tech for its own sake and want to help shape the future by solving real-world challenges.

Your role

We are seeking a tech-savvy, execution-oriented Growth & AI Marketing Operations Specialist to serve as the engine powering our growth campaigns, content infrastructure, and data analytics pipeline.

Your main goal will be to communicate our stories across a portfolio of brands by bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI, data operations, and tactical growth marketing. You’ll be building automated content workflows, ensuring the highest quality across everything we generate, running multi-channel campaigns from start to finish, and maintaining rock-solid attribution tracking.

If you are obsessed with efficiency, operational speed, and using AI to scale output without ever sacrificing quality and if you thrive when given a blank slate to write your own playbook, this role is for you.

Success Metrics (First 90 Days)

• 30 Days: Take full ownership of the existing marketing tech stack and establish baseline performance metrics.

• 60 Days: Fully automate the core content generation pipeline and establish QA workflows.

• 90 Days: Launch at least two multi-channel growth experiments and demonstrate a measurable reduction in CAC or an increase in content throughput.

Core Responsibilities

1. Storytelling That Converts

• Making Complexity Clear: Take complex, often highly technical capabilities and features and turn them into clear, digestible stories without losing accuracy.

• Audience-First Messaging: Understand who the campaigns speak to (developers, technical decision-makers, business stakeholders or end users) and frame each capability around what that audience cares about, at the right level of technical depth.

• Spark Curiosity & Action: Craft narratives that get audiences interested and excited, and that move them to the desired conversion.

• Product & Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to deeply understand what is being built, so every story is both compelling and technically correct.

2. Tactical Deployment & Agile Execution

• Multi-Channel Campaign Launch: Execute and launch integrated campaigns across communities, social channels, search, newsletters, loyalty programs, influencers, paid ads and landing pages. Where needed, bring in and coordinate additional third parties to support execution, such as external PR firms and campaign support providers.

• Marketing Automation: Maintain and scale lifecycle workflows, lead scoring mechanisms, drip sequences, and automated triggers to optimize lead conversion through the relevant funnel.

• Rapid A/B & Multivariate Testing: Design, set up, and evaluate rapid growth experiments (copy variants, landing page layouts, audience segmentation, offer positioning) on a weekly sprint cycle.

3. AI Pipeline Operation & Content QA

• Automated Workflow Orchestration: Build, maintain, and optimize AI-driven content pipelines to generate high-quality marketing assets at scale.

• Human-in-the-Loop Quality Assurance: Establish strict QA processes to review, refine, and approve AI-generated copy, visual assets, landing page content, and email sequences before deployment.

• Prompt Engineering & Template Optimization: Continuously iterate on, standardize, and version-control skills, design systems and context workflows to ensure output matches brand voice, compliance standards, and conversion best practices.

• Scale & Efficiency Metrics: Track content throughput, error rates, and time-to-market reduction, driving continuous improvement in pipeline efficiency.

4. Analytics, Attribution & Data Ops

• Tracking Infrastructure: Implementation and maintenance of event tracking, pixel setups, UTM parameters, and server-side tracking across all digital properties.

• Attribution Modeling: Own multi-touch attribution models to accurately trace pipeline generation, conversions, and revenue back to specific campaigns, channels, and AI-driven experiments.

• Data Integrity & Governance: Regularly audit marketing data across CRMs, marketing automation platforms, and internal databases to clean anomalies and maintain a single source of truth.

• Performance Reporting: Build and manage real-time dashboards providing actionable insights into CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and ROI across experiments.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Experience & Qualifications

• 3–5+ Years in Growth/Marketing Operations: Proven track record in a fast-paced B2B or B2C growth environment, managing campaign ops, marketing automation, and technical data pipelines.

• Passionate Builder: You deeply identify with our products. We are a fast-moving, mission-driven team, and this role requires intrinsic dedication rather than a standard 9-to-5 mentality.

• Hands-on AI Tooling Expertise: Demonstrated experience applying modern LLMs and generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Higgsfield) into real-world marketing workflows, beyond simple basic prompts.

• Technical Analytics Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and data visualization tools.

• Automation Skills: Proficiency with automation platforms to connect API endpoints and pass payload data reliably.

• CRM & Automation Platforms: Direct administration experience with platforms like Zoho.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Basic technical understanding of Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS for lightweight API scripting, data manipulation and rapid landing page iterations

Mindset & Soft Skills

• Systems Thinking: Ability to map out complex, multi-step processes and translate business requirements into efficient technical architecture.

• Agile Adaptability: Comfort operating in fast-paced sprint cycles with changing priorities and a bias toward continuous shipping and learning.

• Obsessive Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for QA; AI speeds up production, but your judgment ensures quality control and brand alignment.

Working Environment & Expectations

• Execution Velocity: We prioritize shipping experiments quickly, learning from real-world data, and iterating fast.

• Tooling Ownership & Independence: You will have complete autonomy over our stack. We expect you to proactively recommend and implement the best modern automation and AI solutions. You define the tools you need to win.

• Asynchronous Communication: Clear documentation, meticulous task tracking, and transparent status updates are core to how we work, allowing you to manage your own time effectively.

Why join Papers?

• Work with cutting-edge technology that actually matters with a team that is obsessed with redefining what cutting edge means.

• High ownership, low bureaucracy. Your voice drives the strategy, giving you the independence to define your own processes.

• Influence the Growth strategy from day one.

• Competitive compensation structure tied directly to your impact, with clear pathways for career growth.

• 25 days paid vacation per year.

• Regular team events and retreats (at least quarterly).

• Support for your ongoing learning and development.r
