Group Product Manager

Who We Are

You've ordered dinner through Just Eat Takeaway. You've bought and sold on OLX. You've paid with PayU. Chances are, you've already used a Prosus company today.

We are Prosus, a global technology company powering some of the world's leading lifestyle ecommerce businesses. Every day, billions of people across India, Latin America, Europe and beyond use our products and services to buy, sell, pay, connect and discover.

Our AI-driven ecosystem spans 100+ companies across ecommerce, food delivery, fintech and experiences, serving billions of consumers worldwide. AI powers how we operate and innovate, with more than 60,000 active AI agents helping our teams build, scale and move faster. Through our investment team, we also back the founders and technologies shaping the future: From robotics and autonomous systems to synthetic biology and frontier AI.

Guided by our five values Innovation, Results, People, Impact, and Entrepreneurship, culture is our competitive advantage. We thrive with experimentation; we build, we test, we learn, we iterate.

Join us in shaping the future of technology at global scale.

The Problem You'll Solve

Prosus is building an AI-first future across a global portfolio that spans food delivery, e-commerce, fintech, and education. We invest over $100 million annually in AI, run 800+ models in production, and have deployed Toqan — our internal platform for building, testing, and deploying GenAI and agentic workflows — across the organisation. The scale of ambition is real; the challenge now is focus, coherence, and velocity.

As Group Product Manager for our AI Platform, you will own the multi-year product strategy for the platform that underpins every AI initiative across Prosus. This means defining and sequencing the roadmap for agent infrastructure, evaluation frameworks, model deployment pipelines, and the shared capabilities that internal teams — from applied science to application engineering — rely on to build and ship AI products. You will balance long-term platform investments against the immediate, high-impact needs of teams across the portfolio who are racing to deliver.

You will lead and mentor a team of product managers, instilling product discipline and building the PM talent pipeline that scales with the platform. You will partner closely with engineering and applied science leadership to shape the technical strategy — making the hard trade-offs between model performance, latency, cost, and reliability that determine what we can promise the business.

And you will be the connective tissue: the person who turns ambiguous, fast-moving business needs into clear requirements, who aligns stakeholders across functions and geographies, and who ensures that what we build is not just technically impressive but adopted, trusted, and measurably impactful.

Who You Are

You are a senior product leader who has lived through the messy reality of building platform products for internal teams — and loved it. You measure your success not by features shipped but by the velocity and quality of the teams who build on top of your platform.

You are deeply technical. You can engage substantively with engineering and applied science teams on model lifecycle, MLOps, evaluation frameworks, and infrastructure trade-offs — not as a bystander, but as a thought partner. You understand agentic architectures, LLM capabilities and limitations, and the operational realities of running AI in production at scale.

You are a people leader. You have managed and mentored product managers, and you take genuine pride in their growth. You set strategic direction, coordinate overlapping roadmaps into a coherent plan, and create the clarity that lets your team operate with autonomy and purpose.

You thrive in ambiguity. You have worked in fast-paced, high-scale environments where priorities shift and the path forward is not always clear. You do not wait for perfect information — you run rapid experiments, test hypotheses, and let data and user feedback guide the next step.

You are a communicator. You can simplify complex technical concepts for executive leadership one hour and dig into detailed requirements with an engineering team the next. You build trust across functions and geographies, and you are as comfortable pushing back as you are building consensus.

You are customer-obsessed — even when your customers are internal teams. You connect frequently with the people who use your platform, validate solutions through product discovery, and treat adoption as a first-class metric.

What You Bring

• 8+ years in product management, with at least 3–5 years in formal people-management roles leading a team of product managers.

• Demonstrated success owning platform-level or infrastructure products used by internal teams — ideally including AI/ML platform capabilities, MLOps tooling, or developer-facing services.

• Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, and the model lifecycle (training, fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring) in production environments.

• Track record of defining and executing multi-year product strategies in fast-moving, high-scale environments.

Technical Depth

• Ability to engage substantively with engineering and applied science teams on architectural decisions, infrastructure trade-offs, and AI system design.

• Familiarity with agentic workflows, agent frameworks, and the operational patterns that make AI agents reliable at scale.

• Strong data-driven decision-making: comfortable with analytics tooling, A/B testing, defining and tracking KPIs, and using metrics to measure adoption, accuracy, latency, and ROI.

• Experience with modern product and engineering tooling (e.g., Databricks, Jira, Confluence, Figma) and agile methodologies.

Leadership & Influence

• Proven ability to mentor and grow product managers, instilling PM best practices and building talent pipelines.

• Stakeholder management across functions and geographies — aligning engineering, applied science, business teams, and executive leadership around a shared roadmap.

• A bias toward ownership: you take accountability for outcomes, protect your engineers' focus, and course-correct execution without waiting to be asked.

Mindset

• Customer-first: you translate needs into technical requirements, push back when scope dilutes value, and advocate relentlessly for the people who use your platform.

• Comfort with ambiguity: you structure complex problems, propose pilots to validate direction, and create clarity for new and evolving teams.

• AI intuition: you stay current on models, frameworks, and evaluation methods — not as a researcher, but with the hands-on curiosity of a builder.

Why Prosus?

At Prosus, your colleagues include 60,000 AI agents… and your job is to figure out what that actually means. We're one of the largest operators of agentic AI on the planet, inside a $100B+ portfolio across 100+ companies and two billion people. The humans here own what AI can't do alone: judgment, creativity, and the call on what gets built next.

Own the impact. Work the ecosystem. Earn your growth. Build with backing.
