This is an influential global role for a physician with deep expertise in medical device vigilance, risk management, and post-marketing safety. You will provide medical and scientific leadership across Galderma's portfolio of injectable aesthetic medical devices, helping ensure that patient safety and benefit-risk considerations remain at the centre of product lifecycle management and strategic decision-making.
Working in a highly collaborative international environment, you will partner with colleagues across Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Commercial teams. Together, you will shape safety strategies, guide regulatory interactions, and contribute to decisions that impact healthcare professionals and patients worldwide.
This is a unique opportunity to combine scientific expertise, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership in one of the most innovative and rapidly evolving areas of dermatology.
Your mission
As Global PV Risk Minimization Physician, you will provide medical leadership for post-marketing safety and risk management activities across Galderma's Injectable Aesthetics medical device portfolio.
You will play a key role in shaping global safety strategies, leading benefit-risk evaluations, and driving initiatives that support the safe use of our products throughout their lifecycle. Working in close partnership with colleagues across Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Commercial teams, you will contribute scientific expertise that informs critical business and regulatory decisions.
In this role, you will:
· Lead medical assessments of safety data, emerging signals, and benefit-risk profiles.
· Drive risk minimisation strategies and support their implementation globally.
· Provide expert input into regulatory submissions, safety reports, and product labelling.
· Support interactions with Health Authorities, Competent Authorities, and Notified Bodies.
· Contribute to safety governance and cross-functional decision-making.
· Strengthen inspection readiness and support a culture of compliance, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
· Act as a trusted scientific partner across the organisation and help shape the future of Injectable Aesthetics at Galderma.
Your profile
You are a physician with a passion for patient safety and a strong scientific mindset. Drawing on extensive experience in medical device safety, vigilance, risk management, or related post-marketing activities, you combine deep medical expertise with the ability to navigate complex global environments and build strong partnerships across functions, cultures, and geographies.
You are comfortable translating complex scientific data into clear recommendations and practical actions, influencing stakeholders at different levels, and balancing strategic thinking with operational execution. With strong scientific judgement, a collaborative approach, and high ethical standards, you thrive in a dynamic international environment where patient safety, quality, and compliance are at the centre of decision-making.
What you'll bring:
- Medical Doctor (MD) qualification.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience within global medical device safety, vigilance, risk management, or related post-marketing activities.
- Strong knowledge of benefit-risk assessment, signal detection, safety surveillance, and risk minimization.
- Solid understanding of global medical device regulations and vigilance requirements.
- Experience interacting with Health Authorities, Competent Authorities, and/or Notified Bodies.
- Knowledge of epidemiology, statistics, and safety data evaluation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex safety data and translate insights into action.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives and influence stakeholders within a global matrix organization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across functions and cultures.
- A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
