. Technical Capabilities
- Ethernet Switch Architecture: In-depth understanding of switch ASIC pipelines
- Networking & Scale-Out Protocols: Solid foundation in L2/L3 Ethernet switching, BGP, and RoCEv2. Familiarity with emerging UEC and ESUN frameworks
- PCIe & Host Interconnects: Working knowledge of PCIe architecture, PCIe switches, and host-to-switch/NIC interface interactions
- Scale-Up vs. Scale-Out: Clear understanding of bandwidth, latency, and protocol tradeoffs between intra-rack Scale-Up links and inter-rack Scale-Out Ethernet switch fabrics
- Hands-On Diagnostic & SDK Skills:
- Hands-on experience with switch SDK APIs, Linux networking tools, and packet analyzers
- Basic scripting capabilities in Python for diagnostic automation, SDK register access, and log parsing
