Enterprise Account Executive

About Prelude

Prelude is redefining how companies authenticate and onboard users - turning what's traditionally a cost center into a growth lever.

Our flagship product lets businesses send OTP codes with the best price-to-conversion ratio on the market, dynamically selecting the most effective channel in real time (optimized SMS, WhatsApp, and more) while actively blocking spam and fraud that legacy providers miss.

Founded in 2022 by former Zenly team members who lived the pain of broken SMS authentication firsthand, we're already serving fast-growing companies across Europe and are expanding into the US.

But authentication is only the starting point - we're building the platform for trust at scale, with an ambitious roadmap of market-defining products ahead.

Why join us

Today, we're a team of 60 and growing, based in Paris, building products that power secure and high-performance user onboarding for companies across the world. We believe small, highly skilled teams outperform large, fragmented organizations, and we are intentional about staying focused on impact, quality, and speed.

We operate with a flat org structure and value in-person collaboration, which helps ideas move faster, decisions stay grounded, and teams take full ownership of what they build.
Our values

• Care
We care deeply about our customers, our teammates, and the quality and reliability of what we ship.

• Bias for Action
We move fast, test in the real world, and iterate quickly rather than over-optimizing in theory.

• Ownership
We take responsibility end to end, from identifying problems to delivering outcomes and learning from results.

About the role

As one of Prelude’s first Enterprise Account Executives, you’ll be building the foundations of our enterprise motion, focused on international accounts. You won’t just close deals: you’ll help shape how we sell to the world’s largest companies. You’ll own complex, high-value sales cycles end-to-end, from opening your first enterprise conversations to navigating multi-stakeholder deals and closing top-tier customers

You’ll work directly with the founders, partnering closely with product, marketing, and engineering to shape our enterprise motion, refine our messaging, and influence the roadmap based on what customers actually need. Your impact will be visible, measurable, and felt across the company.

This role is built for an experienced enterprise AE who wants real ownership: bigger strategic accounts, more autonomy, and a direct hand in building Prelude’s enterprise motion. If you’re excited by fast growth, high standards, and the chance to help build an enterprise sales engine from the inside, this is your seat at the table.

What will you be doing?

• Owning and managing your pipeline across the entire enterprise sales cycle

• Identifying and prioritizing high value prospects in our target market

• Running tailored discovery calls and product demos aligning with prospect pain points

• Collaborating with Engineering and Product to deliver customized proposals where needed

• Multi-threading across executive, technical and procurement stakeholders to drive deals to close

• Building and executing strategic plans for your key accounts

• Tracking activities and pipeline in our CRM, HubSpot

• Sharing market feedback to tailor product development and positioning

• Iterating and improving sales collateral and pricing models - you’re early enough to help us define “how sales works” at Prelude

• Representing Prelude at key events, conferences, and client meetings

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS, including 3+ years managing enterprise accounts

• A proven track record of exceeding quota and closing new business

• Confidence managing a complex full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting through to contract negotiation

• Experience selling technical products to senior engineering and product leaders

• Experience navigating large organizations: mapping business units and expanding from a first use case across the account

• Curiosity and sharp discovery skills, with a consultative sales approach

• Comfort working in ambiguity in a fast-paced start-up environment

• Advanced use of CRM and other sales‑related tools

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Native or fully professional English, ideally with experience selling across international markets

• Preferably, experience selling CPaaS or communications APIs, authentication, identity, fraud or developer-centric solutions

• Excitement for Prelude's mission and enthusiasm for our product!

What we can offer you

• Competitive base salary with generous uncapped commission and BSPCEs

• Hybrid working style: 4 days in-office in Paris, 1 day remote

• High-end gear and ergonomic setup

• 100% travel subsidised to our Paris office

• Private health insurance

• Swile meal vouchers

• Gym pass

• Annual offsites in great locations

• The opportunity to be part of building something big, from the start!
