Educator Engagement Manager

At Macmillan Learning, we're committed to driving innovation that transforms education. We seek team members who thrive on pushing boundaries, envisioning future possibilities, and building solutions that make a lasting impact. Whether you're a Pioneer shaping bold new ideas, a Builder turning possibilities into reality, or a Stabilizer optimizing for success, you'll play a vital role in advancing our mission. If you're excited by the prospect of testing new technologies, implementing transformative strategies, and thriving in a fast-paced, innovative environment, we'd love to hear from you!

As Educator Engagement Manager, you'll serve as the educator-facing partner for new and early-lifecycle High School products, reporting to the SVP, High School. You'll build relationships with educators and districts to strengthen product readiness, surface market insights, and identify barriers so new products are positioned to succeed. Working closely with Program Managers, Product, Sales, Marketing, and the Teaching & Learning Strategist, you'll turn direct educator feedback into practical recommendations that shape products before and during launch.

Our Commitment to Diversity

We know some talented people hesitate to apply when they don't check every box on a list. If this role has you excited and you believe you could do the work well, we want to hear from you, even if your path here doesn't match every requirement exactly. We're looking for people who care about our mission and bring their own perspective to the table. Different backgrounds, skills, and ways of working make us better at what we do. If this opportunity speaks to you, tell us how your experience and abilities could add value here. We want Macmillan Learning to be a place where everyone can do their best work and where different viewpoints are genuinely welcome, so if you're a qualified candidate, we hope you'll apply. We're looking forward to learning what you'd bring to the team.

What You'll Do

• You'll develop and execute educator engagement strategies for new and early-lifecycle High School products, building networks of educators, district leaders, and early adopters to validate product direction.
• You'll engage directly with educators and districts through one-on-one conversations, advisory activities, product previews, paid pilots, and industry conferences.
• You'll identify emerging market barriers, objections, and competitive pressures, and develop recommendations to address them.
• You'll partner with Program Managers on market readiness plans, with Marketing to validate messaging, and with the Teaching & Learning Strategist to connect educator insights with instructional expertise.
• You'll identify and cultivate high-potential opportunities, including paid pilots, early adopters, and educator advocates, and partner with Sales on handoffs.
• You'll track leading indicators of market readiness and engagement, and provide regular updates to the SVP, High School and key stakeholders.
• You'll help build and refine a repeatable market readiness and educator engagement framework that can scale across High School products.

What You'll Bring

• A combination of education and relevant experience, or a college degree.
• A track record in educator engagement, market readiness, or product marketing within K-12 or High School education.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust across educators, district leaders, and cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Marketing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate market insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of High School instructional workflows and the publishing or edtech landscape.
• Experience launching early-lifecycle educational products.
