- Design and develop backend components and services using modern Java and the Spring ecosystem.
- Build and evolve frontend functionality using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Integrate Generative AI tools such as Gemini and Claude into daily development workflows to improve productivity, code quality, automation, and testing.
- Apply AI-assisted development practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including code generation, refactoring, documentation, and test creation.
- Develop robust unit and integration tests and ensure efficient execution within CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply TDD, BDD, Clean Code, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and other engineering best practices.
- Review pull requests and provide technical guidance to ensure code quality, maintainability, security, and architectural consistency.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and proactively implement improvements across applications and services.
- Design and work with microservices, REST APIs, Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architectures, and scalable distributed systems.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases and contribute to data-access and persistence strategies.
- Apply DevSecOps practices, cloud-native technologies, containerization, and automated delivery processes.
- Implement and support observability through logging, tracing, monitoring, metrics, alerting, and APM solutions.
- Apply secure development practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Produce clear technical specifications and functional and technical documentation for delivered solutions.
- Mentor team members and promote the adoption of automation, AI-assisted development, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Functional Analysts, Product teams, and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Senior-level expertise in modern Java and strong experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Solid frontend development experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js, as well as HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and RESTful API consumption.
- Demonstrated daily use of Generative AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies for code generation, refactoring, automation, and testing.
- Strong experience with software quality practices, including TDD, BDD, unit testing, integration testing, static code analysis, and rigorous code reviews.
- Familiarity with testing technologies such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and maintainable software engineering practices.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, together with knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Strong architectural experience with microservices, Domain-Driven Design, Event-Driven Architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices, cloud environments such as AWS or GCP, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of observability practices and tools, including ELK, Google Cloud Logging, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Zipkin, Datadog, Grafana, Google Cloud Monitoring, or New Relic.
- Understanding of secure application development, authentication, and authorization technologies such as Okta, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
- Experience or familiarity with financial services, particularly fixed-income and credit products and related business processes, is desirable.
