Role Title: Data Scientist

About the Role micro1 is partnering with a leading AI lab to hire data scientists and quantitative professionals from top companies. You'll bring rigor to how AI models handle statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and quantitative reasoning.
Scope of Work
- Evaluate AI model outputs on data science, statistics, ML, and quantitative problems
- Create expert-level prompts, datasets, and reference solutions
- Identify flawed methodology, statistical errors, and weak quantitative reasoning
- Provide structured feedback that improves model capability
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year as a data scientist or quant at a top company (tech, finance, or research), with at least part of this experience within the past 7 years
- Undergraduate degree from a well-known university in an English-speaking country
- Based in an English-speaking country
- Clear written communication of technical and statistical concepts
