What you'll do:

• Underwrite institutional counterparties, including hedge funds, asset managers, corporates, market makers, and banking and payment providers, recommending internal credit ratings and risk-based limits with written substantiation.
• Monitor trading and bank partner exposures on an ongoing basis, conducting periodic portfolio reviews and flagging concentration risks or emerging trends to leadership.
• Analyze asset volatility and liquidity risks on a per-asset and portfolio basis to support lending and trading product decisions.
• Collaborate with product, sales, operations, and legal teams to resolve client or product challenges and deliver risk-informed solutions.
• Research industry trends, regulatory developments, and crypto market dynamics to contribute to the team's thought leadership and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Demonstrated interest in financial and capital markets, with coursework or projects involving credit analysis, financial statement interpretation, or portfolio risk concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for quantitative analysis, including modeling, scenario analysis, or data summarization.
• Familiarity with the crypto economy or digital assets, or a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new financial product domains.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
