Build something that matters
Schuberg Philis is investing for long-term growth in the Nordics and is looking for an experienced commercial professional based in the Stockholm area to help build our business in the region.
The purpose of this role is simple: to help establish Schuberg Philis as one of the most trusted technology partners for leading Nordic financial institutions. You will accelerate our growth by creating new opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships and helping customers solve business-critical challenges.
Depending on your background, experience and strengths, your role may place greater emphasis on creating new business opportunities, expanding strategic customer relationships, or combining both. We are deliberately not looking for one predefined profile: we are looking for exceptional commercial professionals who will help shape our future in the Nordics.
About Schuberg Philis
Schuberg Philis is a Dutch technology company focused on mission-critical environments where downtime is not an option. For nearly 25 years we have helped organisations run and transform their most business-critical technology landscapes. Today we are more than 500 colleagues and, since joining Bridgepoint, we have entered an exciting new phase of growth across Europe.
Our reputation has been built on one simple principle: we deliver on our promises. Every time. That's why 100% customer satisfaction isn't simply an ambition - it's our guiding principle and the only KPI that truly matters. By putting experts in the lead, taking end-to-end ownership and focusing on business outcomes rather than transactions, we've earned the trust of some of Europe's most demanding organisations.
The Opportunity
This is more than a traditional Commercial Director role. You will play a key part in building Schuberg Philis' long-term presence in the Nordic Financial Services market. Our philosophy is simple: "Run It Like You Own It." This role comes with real ownership, not just of opportunities and customer relationships, but of how we build Schuberg Philis' long-term success in the Nordics. You will have significant influence on our market strategy while helping shape how one of Europe's most respected technology companies grows in the region.
Although based in our central Stockholm office, you will work as part of an international and highly collaborative organisation, partnering closely with senior commercial, delivery and technology leaders across the Netherlands and Europe.
The Nordic Financial Services market is one of our highest strategic priorities. Banks, insurers and payment providers are navigating cloud transformation, AI, cyber security, operational resilience and increasing regulatory requirements.
Our ambition is not simply to win projects. We build long-term partnerships by understanding our customers' business ambitions, challenging conventional thinking and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Why this role is different
This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage of our Nordic growth journey, combining business development, strategic account leadership and market building. You won't simply inherit a territory: you'll help define how Schuberg Philis grows in one of Europe's most attractive Financial Services markets. You'll influence strategy, shape customer engagements and build lasting executive partnerships across the Nordic Financial Services market.
Exceptional commercial leaders bring different strengths. Some excel at opening doors and creating new business. Others thrive on growing strategic customer relationships. Many combine both.
Rather than forcing people into predefined roles, we will shape this role around the successful candidate while ensuring one common objective: accelerating Schuberg Philis' growth and impact in the Nordics.
What you'll do
What you’ll bring
We're not looking for someone who ticks every box. We're looking for someone who shares our values and brings strengths that complement our team, and thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
What success looks like
Success is measured by far more than commercial results. It is reflected in the trust you build, the relationships you develop, the opportunities you create, and your contribution to establishing Schuberg Philis as one of the Nordic region's most respected technology partners.
You will be successful by bringing together commercial, delivery and technology teams around shared customer outcomes, creating long-term partnerships and helping our customers solve business-critical challenges.
Ultimately, success comes from thinking and acting like an owner. You take accountability beyond your individual responsibilities, make decisions with a long-term perspective, and consistently do what is right for our customers and for Schuberg Philis.
A final note
We know that very few people match every qualification in a job description. If this opportunity excites you and you believe you can make a meaningful contribution, we'd love to hear from you.
Everyone we work with and consider working with has a right to equal treatment. The hiring and appraisal process at Schuberg Philis is designed to be thorough and equitable, implementing fair payment, benefits, and opportunities across all demographics.
It is our desire to be a company that brings together multiple nationalities, cultures, religions, genders, abilities, and talents within and across our teams. We welcome colleagues from diverse backgrounds to join Schuberg Philis and actively support diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
