About the role
Role: Own Radity's technology direction and engineering organization, from delivery quality on client projects to how Radity adopts AI in building software.
Stack: TypeScript, Python, Java or similar modern languages; Azure or AWS; AI-assisted development tools
Experience: You have led engineering teams and senior engineers through complex enterprise software delivery, typically with about 10+ years in software engineering.
English: B2 or higher, C1 ideal
Contract: Full-time, indefinite B2B contract with Radity; you invoice Radity monthly in USD.
Location: Remote
Core hours: 09:00–18:00 CET, with evening overlap with US clients
The company
Radity is a Swiss-based software engineering company of 70+ people, fully remote and working mostly with US clients, many in insurance. It is founder-managed, with direct access to the CEO.
Its teams build and run complex client platforms, and the engineering organization is growing. The next step is consistent engineering standards and AI-assisted practices across every team and project.
You lead engineers and their leads, join the leadership team and report to the CEO. This is not a hands-off executive role: you stay close to architecture and the major technical decisions.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop engineering teams across several complex client projects.
- Own engineering quality, delivery standards and technical direction.
- Guide architecture, system design and major technical decisions.
- Coach engineering leads and developers in their professional growth.
- Turn client and stakeholder needs into practical technical plans, estimates and delivery risk control.
- Drive AI-assisted engineering practices across teams and projects.
- Shape hiring, team structure and engineering capabilities.
What you bring
- Proven leadership of engineering teams as a CTO, Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager or similar.
- Complex enterprise software projects you led to delivery.
- Strong judgment in software architecture, system design and modern engineering practices.
- Senior engineers and technical leads you have managed and developed.
- Ownership of quality and technical decisions, with the trade-offs you can explain.
- Daily use of AI tools and a plan for spreading them across teams.
- Clear communication with clients, stakeholders and leadership.
Nice to have: insurance or insurtech experience.
Not for you if you want to step away from technical decisions, or prefer managing one team over leading several.
What Radity offers
- Indefinite contract: not tied to the end date of one project.
- Full equipment, paid AI tools and learning budget.
- Global team events.
- Startup-style projects for established clients, with real influence on direction.
- A seat on the leadership team, shaping Radity's technology strategy, engineering organization and AI adoption.
Hiring process
About 2–3 weeks in total, with no take-home task. After each step, you hear from us within 2 business days, with feedback.
- Intro call with Radity HR,
- Interview with the CEO,
- Panel with 2 of our engineers,
- Offer.
If we choose another candidate after you have passed our steps, you stay in our pool for other Radity roles.

Send your CV or LinkedIn profile; no cover letter needed, and it takes about 5 minutes.
