Business Development Manager

Accountabilities:

• Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with key performance indicators, revenue objectives, cost savings, and profitability targets.
• Expand the customer base across North Texas and Oklahoma, increasing market penetration and growing the regional portfolio of business.
• Build and implement an effective customer outreach strategy, using Salesforce as the primary customer relationship management platform.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet prospective customers, assess business opportunities, and strengthen client relationships.
• Maintain existing customer relationships and coordinate the transition of newly acquired accounts to account managers for ongoing support.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of the organization's products and services to communicate value propositions effectively to stakeholders at multiple levels within prospective accounts.
• Identify customer needs, map business strengths to client priorities, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare compelling business proposals that highlight competitive advantages and demonstrate the value of the services offered.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to draft, review, and negotiate customer contracts.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, potential revenue streams, and opportunities for territory expansion.
• Monitor local and international industry trends to assess their potential impact on business performance and market opportunities.
• Support existing portfolio management and identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
• Track sales activities, performance against targets, and territory development opportunities in collaboration with account managers.
• Prepare regular reports on business development results and continuously refine sales strategies to maximize performance.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing effective business development strategies.
• Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management, and customer engagement skills.
• Proven negotiation abilities and confidence managing commercial discussions and contracts.
• Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to navigate challenging customer situations professionally.
• Experience in hospital services or a related service industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different organizational levels.
• Strong presentation skills and confidence in value-based selling.
• Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to encourage and motivate colleagues toward shared goals.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned North Texas and Oklahoma territory as required.
