General Notes
Dell Medical School is seeking an Associate Project Manager for the Enterprise Project Management Office.
Purpose
At The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, we are building a world-class academic medical center, and the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) plays a critical role in driving the strategic transformation of our institution. We are seeking a motivated Associate Project Manager who wants to build a career in project management while directly contributing to our five-year strategic plan, Health Starts Here.
You'll own the full lifecycle of projects independently, while supporting our Project Managers on cross-functional initiatives that span Workforce, Facilities, Integrated Clinical Practice, Research, Education, Finance, and Technology. You'll work closely with a talented team of project managers, project coordinators, and executive leaders, gaining hands-on exposure across the full breadth of the institution's strategic priorities.
Why Join Us
At The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, we're not just managing timelines and deliverables, we're building something bigger: a better model for health and care. As part of our central EPMO, you'll join a highly collaborative team committed to excellence, stewardship, and impact. Here, you will:
- Own meaningful projects with real accountability and visibility
- Gain exposure across multiple strategic portfolios rather than a single functional area
- Learn directly from experienced project managers who will actively mentor your growth
- Build a foundation of skills, tools, and institutional knowledge across the EPMO
- Contribute to a mission-driven institution during a transformational time, as we prepare to open a new hospital and grow our academic medical center
You will join a mission-driven institution during a transformational time and have the unique opportunity to learn directly from experienced project leaders, contribute meaningfully from day one, and directly impact the future of academic medicine and our core values:
