AI Unity Tools Engineer

Homa is a global mobile game developer and publisher creating games people love. We partner with studios and internally develop games, having launched over 80 titles, reached over 2 billion downloads, and seen our game All in Hole break into the global top-50 grossing charts. These are milestones, not the finish line.

With deep expertise in product and technology, we built Homa Lab, our proprietary platform that gives developers the market intelligence, data tools, and game tech, with AI built in, to find product–market fit fast and scale mass-market games into lasting experiences players enjoy for years.

This is our flywheel: Homa Lab helps studios spot the right ideas early, turn them into games quickly, and reach millions of players. Every launch brings back data and insights that fuel the next hit, making each turn of the loop faster, smarter, and more likely to win. AI supercharges this process, running through everything we do, from everyday tasks to our guiding principles.

What powers the loop is talent density. 220+ people from 30+ nationalities, bringing expertise from the world's best studios and companies. We uphold ambition, curiosity, humility, and focus, and deliver with speed, excellence, and candor.

Since the start, we've raised $165M from Headline, Northzone, Eurazeo, Bpifrance, and the founders of King, Sorare, and Spotify, people who've built and backed the games and platforms we admire, now supporting our drive to create the next ones.

At Homa, we are building the next billion-player experiences from the ground up and shaping the future of entertainment.

The opportunity

As an AI Unity Tools Engineer, you'll build the next generation of QA automation and development tooling for Homa's games. This is a new, high-impact initiative, and you'll own it: from the first question to the tools running in production across our portfolio.

You’ll work across AI, Unity, QA automation, DevOps, and infrastructure to make testing and build pipelines more reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient for games developed by Homa and its studios. You'll be working on AI-driven QA automation at the edge of what is technically possible, and you'll see the impact directly in the speed, reliability, and cost of how our games are made.

What you'll do

• Build. Design and deploy AI-enabled QA automation pipelines across Homa's major Unity games.
• Run. Maintain and improve our TeamCity build pipelines and infrastructure so game builds stay reliable.
• Scale. Onboard new games and tools onto the platform without reducing service quality.
• Explore. Test AI-driven approaches to QA that cut manual testing effort and reduce reliance on costly legacy tooling.
• Drive adoption. Work with developers, QA teams, studios, and mobile teams so the tools you build are actually used.
• Measure. Track the impact of your work on testing time, build reliability, and cost, and turn it into clear recommendations.

Requirements

• Ownership. You drive outcomes. When a build breaks or a test fails, you fix it instead of explaining why it broke.
• Proactive. You don't wait for instructions or perfect conditions. You spot what needs doing and do it.
• Pragmatism and simplicity. You look for the simplest solution that works, use whatever tools are available, and ship. You turn ambitious ideas into practical, achievable solutions.
• Sharp thinking. You learn fast, reason from facts, and structure your ideas clearly. You can explain a complex technical solution to developers, QA teams, and studios in a few sentences.
• AI-driven. AI is already part of how you work every day. You've used it to automate, speed up, or rethink at least one thing you're proud of.
• Hungry and motivated. You're ambitious, high-energy, and grounded. You see this role as a chance to build something new and grow faster than anywhere else, and you're ready to work for it.
• Bonus: you've built something. An internal tool, a testing framework, a game, a side project. We'd love to hear about it.

For this role, you'll also bring

• Hands-on experience with Unity and the ability to understand Unity games, game systems, and testing contexts.
• Proven experience using AI systems, models, or AI-enabled engineering workflows in practice.
• Strong DevOps understanding, including TeamCity, build pipelines, and infrastructure.
• The ability to work across technical topics while understanding the wider product and business context.
• Experience working in a complex environment with meaningful product and testing volumes.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience building QA automation or testing frameworks.
• Experience with AI-driven exploratory testing.
• Experience in gaming or another Unity-based product environment.
• Experience supporting products with high testing volumes.
• Experience driving adoption of internal tools across multiple teams.

Even if you don't check every box, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and we're more interested in your potential and passion than a perfect match to our checklist.

Why Homa

• Exceptional growth. We hire people of outstanding potential, then put them where they can grow fastest.
• Real ownership, early. This is a new initiative. Your tools will change how Homa and its studios build and test games, and you'll see the results.
• A high talent bar. Our teams are small and demanding, and the people around you will push you to grow.
• AI at the core. You'll have access to the best AI tools, and you'll help shape how an AI-first company works.
