About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

AI is moving from something businesses experiment with to something that fundamentally changes how teams operate, make decisions and serve their customers. Salesforce is leading that shift with Agentforce — our platform for building and deploying AI agents — alongside Slack, Customer 360 and the world’s leading CRM platform.

We’re looking for an Account Executive, SMB – Slack to join our Auckland team and help businesses unlock the next generation of productivity through AI.

You’ll work with SMB customers to understand where AI can make a real difference across their business — from automating repetitive work and surfacing insights, to connecting people, data and AI agents in the flow of work.

This is a full-cycle new business sales role for a commercially driven seller who is excited by AI, thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to turn customer challenges into compelling business outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead AI-powered transformation

• Own the full sales cycle across a portfolio of SMB customers, from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and close.
• Engage business leaders to understand how their teams work today and identify opportunities where AI, automation and collaboration can create measurable impact.
• Lead conversations around the future of work and demonstrate how Slack, Salesforce and Agentforce can work together to transform productivity.
• Help customers understand how AI agents can augment their teams, automate workflows and enable employees to focus on higher-value work.
• Connect customer business priorities to the broader Salesforce platform and demonstrate the value of a unified approach to CRM + Data + AI + Slack.

Build and win your territory

• Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on creating new pipeline and winning new SMB customers.
• Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, account-based selling, inbound opportunities, partners and Salesforce ecosystem relationships.
• Run high-quality discovery with decision-makers and build a strong understanding of their business, technology environment and strategic priorities.
• Deliver compelling, outcome-led pitches and collaborate with Solution Engineers to demonstrate the value of Slack and Agentforce.
• Manage complex opportunities through the full sales cycle, navigating multiple stakeholders and building executive alignment.
• Negotiate and close new business while consistently achieving and exceeding quarterly revenue targets.

Sell with the Salesforce ecosystem

• Partner closely with Sales Development, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Partners and Salesforce Account Teams.
• Identify opportunities where Slack and Agentforce can complement existing Salesforce investments or introduce customers to the broader Salesforce ecosystem.
• Build relationships with business and technology leaders and become a trusted advisor on AI-powered ways of working.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity management and pipeline hygiene through Salesforce.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for a high-performing, curious and commercially minded seller who wants to be at the forefront of the AI transformation.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Proven experience in a quota-carrying B2B sales role, ideally within SaaS, cloud, AI or technology.
• A strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience owning the full sales cycle, particularly new business and pipeline generation.
• The ability to sell business outcomes rather than simply technology or product features.
• Strong discovery, consultative selling, negotiation and closing skills.
• Confidence engaging with business leaders and decision-makers around technology, productivity and transformation.
• A genuine interest in AI and how AI agents will change the way businesses operate.
• Commercial curiosity — you naturally ask why, what's changing, and what could be done differently?
• Resilience, competitiveness and the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.
• Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Agentforce or other SaaS/AI platforms is highly advantageous.

Why Slack + Agentforce?

Slack is evolving from a place where teams communicate into an AI-powered work operating system — bringing people, knowledge, applications, data and AI agents together in the flow of work.

With Slack and Agentforce, businesses can move beyond simply using AI as a chatbot or standalone tool. AI agents can become part of how teams actually get work done — helping employees find information, automate tasks, make decisions and take action. And because Slack sits within the Salesforce ecosystem, customers can connect AI to the customer data, workflows and business context they already rely on.

If you're an ambitious SaaS seller who wants to help customers move from experimenting with AI to putting AI agents to work, this is an opportunity to help shape what's next.
