We’re just getting started, and we need your help.

The role

We’re looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to help expand Waitwhile’s footprint and bring our platform to even more businesses.

You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through demos, negotiation, and close, with a focus on Mid-Market customers across industries including retail, finance, government, education, and healthcare.

You’ll work closely with BDRs, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering to build pipeline, understand customer needs, and demonstrate the value Waitwhile can bring to their business.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the sales process, building strong customer relationships, and making a visible impact on the growth of a fast-growing SaaS company.

What you’ll do

• Own the full sales cycle: Manage opportunities from the first conversation through negotiation and close, with a focus on deals in the $30K–$150K ARR range.

• Build pipeline: Generate opportunities through both inbound and self-sourced outbound efforts, working closely with BDRs and Marketing to identify the right accounts and industries.

• Run compelling demos: Lead tailored demos and presentations that connect Waitwhile’s capabilities to each customer’s needs, challenges, and goals.

• Tell the value story: Understand different buyer personas and communicate Waitwhile’s value and ROI in a clear and compelling way.

• Negotiate and close: Navigate commercial conversations and close deals that create long-term value for both our customers and Waitwhile.

• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success to improve targeting, messaging, handoffs, and the overall customer journey.

• Track and forecast: Maintain accurate opportunities and pipeline data in HubSpot, own expected close timelines, and contribute to data-driven pipeline reviews.

• Share market insights: Bring feedback from prospects and customers back to the wider team to help improve our positioning, product, and go-to-market strategy.

What skills you need

• 4–6+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of closing Mid-Market or upper-SMB deals.

• A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Strong experience with consultative and value-based selling.

• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills.

• Experience navigating complex buying processes, multiple stakeholders, and buying committees.

• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into clear business value.

• Comfortable owning your pipeline and working independently in a fast-moving environment.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Bonus Skills & Attributes:

• Experience selling into retail, education, enterprise services, or similar industries.

• Experience working in a fast-growing SaaS or product-led company.

• Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Chorus, and Notion.

• Experience partnering with Sales Engineers on tailored product demos.

• Strong understanding of pipeline generation and self-sourced outbound sales.

• Curious, collaborative, and comfortable working across teams to get things done.
