We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Seattle, Washington D.C., Raleigh, London, and Amsterdam.

In this role, you'll be the individual helping us achieve this vision.
Your focus will be on engaging a curated list of lenders that don't currently work with Plaid, identifying opportunities to partner, and owning the end-to-end sales process. Additionally, you’ll be working with Plaid's existing lending customers, deeply understanding their business, and aligning our solutions to help them achieve both near and long-term goals. This role will work across all segments at Plaid to partner with the segment Account Executives to accomplish these goals.

Own the end-to-end sales cycle and coordinate efforts from sales engineers, product specialists, and other team members throughout the sales process
Coordinate cross-functional resources and drive initiatives across Plaid to support a consultative sales motion
Manage pipeline and accurately forecast deal value and win probability
Develop a deep understanding of Plaid solutions and apply this knowledge by identifying how each customer can leverage our technology to achieve their unique goals and objectives

Excellent prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills; consultative sales approach with a customer-centric mindset
Working knowledge of APIs and a desire to understand how Plaid works 'under the hood'
Professional yet relaxed communication style, with the ability to break-down complex concepts and explain them in simple terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of an organization, without being perceived as ‘salesy’
Our mission at Plaid is to unlock financial freedom for everyone. To support that mission, we seek to build a diverse team of driven individuals who care deeply about making the financial ecosystem more equitable. We recognize that strong qualifications can come from both prior work experiences and lived experiences.
