Do you have existing account management and sales experience within the life sciences or localization services industry? Are you looking for a role where you can exhibit the utmost integrity, deliver the highest quality, provide outstanding service, act as if you own it, work with a sense of urgency, treat everyone with respect, operate as a cohesive team, celebrate diversity, be financially responsible, and achieve results? Then we’d like to hear from you.

Position Summary

The focus of this role is to take ownership of an established portfolio of enterprise life sciences accounts – keeping them healthy, deepening relationships across client functions, and expanding revenue across TransPerfect’s service lines. This is an account-growth seat with a defined path to Director of Strategic Accounts: as you demonstrate expansion results, you will assume full strategic ownership of the territory’s most significant client relationships.

Key Position Takeaway:

• Take ownership of an established portfolio of enterprise pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device accounts, serving as the primary commercial point of contact

• Develop and execute account plans that identify expansion opportunities across service lines, including clinical trial translation, COA/linguistic validation, regulatory labeling, eTMF/clinical technology, and AI-enabled translation workflows

• Build multi-threaded relationships across client functions – clinical operations, regulatory affairs, quality, procurement, and commercial/medical affairs

• Identify, qualify, develop, and close expansion and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts

• Develop an effective understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of TransPerfect services

• Present TransPerfect solutions via one-on-one, group, online, and in-person meetings

• Partner with internal subject-matter experts and solution engineers to bring the right specialists into client conversations

• Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures

• Provide customer support and manage client expectations

• Quote, manage, and bill projects on a daily basis, coordinating with clients and production teams to ensure these run smoothly and profitably

• Maintain accurate pipeline, account intelligence, and forecast data

Essential Skills Required:

• Commit to a high level of integrity and service

• Deliver quality work

• Service focused with a desire to exceed clients’ expectations

• Owning your performance and taking responsibility

• Multitask and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment

• Commit to always treating everyone (from clients to co-workers to vendors to business partners) with the ultimate level of respect

• Work well in a team with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and co-workers

• Celebrate diversity and embrace new ideas and differing perspectives

• Be financially responsible and make sound financial decisions

• Take active measures to achieve results and solve problems

Essential Experience Required:

• 1 to 4+ years of sales, account management, or strategic business development experience within the life sciences and/or localization industries

• Demonstrated track record of growing existing accounts – measurable revenue expansion, not just retention

• Proven experience selling or managing large localization, clinical services, or technology engagements

• Familiarity with enterprise life sciences buying processes (procurement, MSAs, vendor qualification) strongly preferred

• Ability to operate independently and contribute from day one – this seat carries a live account load
