Account Executive

As an Account Executive at Veremark, you’ll be responsible for driving new business growth within the ASIA market, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close. You’ll engage directly with HR, Compliance, and Procurement leaders across enterprise and mid-market organisations, showing how Veremark’s technology can help them build trust at scale.

You’ll work both self-generated and inbound pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets, with support from Sales Development, Marketing, and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle: From outreach to negotiation and close, targeting enterprise and mid-market clients within our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

• Drive new business: Prospect strategically, qualify leads, and build relationships with senior stakeholders in HR, Compliance, and Procurement.

• Work inbound and outbound: Manage leads from marketing and SDRs while running your own prospecting to build a healthy self-generated pipeline.

• Lead consultative sales: Run discovery calls and deliver tailored demos focused on solving customer pain points and delivering measurable business value.

• Navigate complex deals: Work with multiple stakeholders (HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Procurement) and manage deals for companies with between 2,000 - 5,000 employees.

• Forecast accurately: Maintain CRM hygiene (HubSpot) and provide reliable pipeline and revenue forecasts.

• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Marketing, Product, SDR’s and Account Management to refine messaging, share feedback, and drive customer satisfaction.

• Represent Veremark: Be a trusted advisor and brand ambassador at industry events, online communities, and in client interactions.

What You’ll Bring

• 3–6 years’ experience in B2B sales within the HR Tech industry across APAC markets - direct HR technology sales experience is essential.

• Background screening experience is a strong differentiator and highly preferred.

• Proven track record of running and closing deals within enterprise or mid-market clients.

• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and navigating corporate procurement and compliance processes.

• Demonstrated ability to prospect effectively using modern platforms and build a self-generated pipeline.

• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills, capable of engaging C-level executives with confidence.

• Experience using CRM (HubSpot preferred) and prospecting platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Amplemarket, Snitcher).

• Experience with SPIN Selling or MEDDPICC methodologies is a plus, but not a requirement.

• A consultative, data-driven approach with a focus on delivering business outcomes.

• High energy, self-motivation, and resilience - thrives in a remote-first, fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• We have a remote-first working policy, so you will need somewhere suitable to work at home, with great connectivity.

We are an all-remote organisation with ~200+ people spread across the world. We value Trust, Integrity, Data and Experience in everything we do - from the way we collaborate to the products we create.

We’re focused on transforming the industry while partnering with many of the leading technology platforms in the People & Talent ecosystem.

And we’re growing fast. Having recently been ranked in Deloitte’s Tech Fast 50 for the second year running, we’re looking for brilliant people, fast thinkers and passionate change-drivers to join our expanding team.

Veremark is a remote-first HR tech scale-up on a mission to help the world trust faster.

We started with background and reference checking, pioneering an entirely new approach through Verepass - a blockchain solution which facilitates instant verification by enabling candidates to own, manage, and share their securely-held and verified career credentials.

We have recently launched our second product - a Whistleblowing platform with end-to-end encryption enabling employees to report issues safely and anonymously.

But this is just the beginning. Join us and become part of the journey using technology to help the world trust faster.
