Account Director

Moburst is a boutique global mobile marketing agency that helps companies grow their mobile business. The most prestigious brands and startups in the world such as Google, Samsung, Discovery and Uber are leveraging our mobile strategy, product, creative, app store optimization (ASO) and media services to enhance their product and maximize their KPIs.

Love mobile? Want to join one of the top mobile marketing agencies in the US and be part of our success? We are looking for an exceptional Account Director to join our team. The Account Director owns relationships with our most important asset – our clients. As the main point of contact for our clients, the Account Director also coordinates the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans and balances the expectations of our clients with the execution of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Own the client relationship end to end: strategy, satisfaction, retention, and renewals for a portfolio of top-tier accounts

• Lead development of each client's marketing plan and drive its execution through our service teams — this role doesn't execute the work directly, it orchestrates the specialists who do

• Fully own project management in Asana for your accounts: build and maintain the project plans, keep tasks current, and drive timelines in partnership with executional teams. This is a core accountability of the role, and accounts for ~40% of the role.

• Direct project delivery with our international team, holding a high bar for quality and accountability on tight timelines

• Spot shifts in client business priorities early and flag them to senior leadership before they become problems

• Identify upsell and growth opportunities, and partner with delivery teams to bring them to clients

• Negotiate contracts and fee arrangements.

• Own client budget management: track spend against scope, forecast accurately, flag overages early, and make sure billable work maps to what was sold

• Present strategic thinking in planning sessions, client summits, and industry conferences

• De-escalate challenging client situations with solutions that rebuild trust

• Travel up to 15% as needed

Requirements:

• BA in business, advertising, marketing, or related field.

• 5+ years of account management experience in global professional services companies, preferably from the digital/mobile advertising space.

• Experience managing top tier clients with larger marketing budgets.

• Proven, hands-on experience in project management; exceptional ability to accurately estimate effort and resources required to complete complex projects and build detailed project Gantts with subtasks accordingly.

• Business-savvy approach, with the ability to translate client brief and business needs into data and campaign requirements.

• Strong ability to multitask, manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, and thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment while collaborating across functions and teams globally and time efficiently (e.g. clients in SF, the delivery team in Israel).

• Dynamic personality, able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences – a true people person.

• Excellent written, presentation, management, listening, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with Asana (or similar PM tools) and Salesforce is a significant advantage.

• Managerial experience is a plus.
